Some guy is charging me $25 for shipping for one pack of mates $25 he's in New York. I sent a deluxe Transformer to Italy for $18 for crying out loud.

I think starting a list of deadbeat/con-artist ebayers would be a great idea. I'm sure it could be set up in a way that slander could be avoided. I personally got burnt twice on ebay.

It's seems to me that the red undied version is a little less common, so I'm wondering exactly how many people here have decent Marys?

Yeah the Jazz repaint is way better than the original movie version.

I'm very intrigued by this idea but not having a 360 at home hinders my ability to play whenever I want, but I could be online playing Halo 3 Sept. 29 at 630. I am dangerously close t getting a 360. Is the premium package ok

I only collect dc and marvel but I've got at least one of every normal mate plus alot of doubles I counted once it was like 260 that was before the the dcd I'm actually a little worried it's got to be over 300 now I think may have a problem.

I'm in I don't have a 360 myself (spend too much on comics) but my nephew has one Fridays or saturdays would be good. We play Gears of War alot and he has Halo 3 pre-ordered.

I get mine from my lcs. I don't even have to tell them they know if there are minimates in previews they just automatically order them for me.

I like the fact that minimates aren't super popular I think it makes them cooler. Think about what happens when things are super popular they don't last.

I hate bad drivers 2 people tried to cut me off today on the way home from work and I almost got in an accident both times. If they only would have signalled I could have slowed down and let them in but noooo just change lanes without without a shoulder checking idiots. Oh and people who say things like you gave it a 150% get on my nerves, it's impossible by definetion all anybody could ever give is a hundred percent.

I didn't get the first series I thought it looked cool but I'm getting a little more conservative with the comics I purchase because I fall behind in reading. Having said that when pictures of these minimates came out I thought they were cool plus I had to get them cause they're minimates and because they were cool, minimates, and Zombies. I immediately regretted not getting the comics. I was able to get Dead days and Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness(really cool) and I'm going to look into getting the orginal series but I'm not to hopeful though on account of there current popularity. So basically the minimates piqued my interest in the comics.

I paid like $70 cad for that boxset from a local comic shop I didn't know any better I later found out how badly I got ripped off so now I don't buy anything there anymore unless I can't find it anywhere else or it's on sale :tongue: .

Yes I do there are to comic shops in my town that carry them one I get a deal at the other is horribly over priced but I went there today to get a copy of New X Men #40 (sold out everywhere else) and they just happened to be having a sale. The 2 pack still cost me $13 even after 30% off but meh

I like the way it is now I do agree that it would be more pratical with pegs but it wouldn't look as good especially when he holds the board beside himself like in the picture in this thread.

I just got my wave 16 marvel mates and I'm pretty jazzed. The only problem is that the Bearded Thor package was double taped ie taped and than opened and taped over the broken tape. I was a little curious about this thinking it may have been opened by my lcs but I went to another comic store and bought another bearded Thor and it was the same way. I don't like opening my minimates ( I will someday) anyways it may not seem like a big deal, but if you guys could check yours and let me know it would be greatly appreciated. I took a closer look at the boxes and it appears as though the first peice of tape is still intact. For some reason they taped it twice on one side on both boxes. hmmphf

The Transformers movie adaptation comic book miniseries is crappola.

There was a couple of scenes (I guess that's what you call them) in previews specifically made for minimates and other smaller figures. I'm not sure what issue of previews they were in but in may be something you might want to look into.
