  1. That was an exclusive to K-Mart, I believe. I always get the stores mixed up. Pretty sure Toys r Us had the Captain America and Iron Man packs. Anyway, they were all over at first (at least, in my area they were) but once most of them were out of retail they became a bit more sought after.
  2. I think Mezco picked up the liscence to do Heroes action figures.
  3. Yeah, the UPC doesn't seem to mean much of anything.
  4. I'm sure someone will be able to eventually. From what I've heard from three confirmed (pics of receipts and stuff) sightings so far, most of the stores that get them will have at least ten. Because WalMart brings their stock in through Mexico.
  5. Not just you. I've just had him holding it by the strap like in the picture on the back of the card. Not a midget. It's Stargirl's step-dad, Pat Dugan. If they had made S.T.R.I.P.E. to scale, he would have been about 5 or 6 inches so that's pretty much the best they could do. Scale wise, anyway.
  6. Technically, there were two before her. I don't know much about the second one but the first one is the current Red Star.
  7. Yeah, it was basically Green Arrow's bachelor party and Black Canary's bachelorette party and Lex Luthor, Joker, and Cheetah picking the new Injustice League members.
  8. It was the "Justice League of America Wedding Special" that had the first part of that arc.
  9. Aw, now I have to go hunting when I go out to finish off my Halloween costume. I'm already feeling lazy as it is. Bah, effort.
  10. I discovered something kinda fun yesterday. With a simple head swap between Blackhawk and Green Lantern, you get a fairly rough base for a Kato (from Green Hornet) custom and an unmasked Hal Jordan. Observe:
  11. It looks to me like they started doing it in the sculpting phase, realized it wasn't all going to fit and just said, "Meh, close enough."
  12. They probably just jacked up the price so people would see the 72% off and think, "Man, that's such a great deal. How many credit cards do I have now?"
  13. I'm in Michigan and I have them. For those of you wondering why S.T.R.I.P.E. has the little handles on his back, this is how Courtney used to get around before she got the Gravity Rod from Jack Knight: Just another amazing little detail that makes this set my favorite of wave 6!
  14. 1. I want Bot-Con toys. I hate you. 2. Why no Devastator? He's awesome! 1. 2. I had the Energon version and I didn't like it then. Classics Devastator has absolutely no right to the name. Five bots from three molds? No, thank you very much. Plus, any excuse not to give WalMart my money is just fine with me.
  15. Good list, dude. I have all of those except for Devastator, Springer, and Weirdwolf. Woo-hoo! Bring on Classics 2.0 (Universe)!
  16. I'm actually most excited about the Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. pack but I'm hoping to be impressed by the Sgt. Rock and Blackhawk pack.
  17. Wow, yeah, that's not true. I saw a Best Buy employee open a case, there were four figures in the box--two Megatron and two Ratchet. Like I said, the workers probably grabbed a few before putting them out. That'd be my guess anyway. Hooray for being lied to by people that "want" my money!!! Agreed. I still want to see the fabled Prime taking out Barricade sequence, rough or not. Nope. Lousy British press release... But there are a couple of easter eggs that have scenes that didn't make the cut. They are by no means finalized. One was Megatron pulling Michael Bay out of an SUV, the other is the XBox Transformer attacking a woman and tearing at her clothes. The Xbox scene is extremely rough, and the Michael Bay scene is just them filming it in front of a blue screen. I can honestly say, I'm glad that neither of those made it. Oh, but the screen tests for the dogs was awesome!!!!! (not really)
  18. All of the stores in my area got one of each. That's odd, considering a case is two of each. I think your stores had some eager stockboys who may have found a new home for the toys. Everywhere I went, they told me they were one each per case and each store told me they got one case.
  19. All of the stores in my area got one of each.
  20. Gah, I'm having a hard time deciding which store to get the Transformers DVD from next week. It seems like every retailer out there has their own exclusive stuff to go with it. Plus, to add some fire to my indicisiveness, I just found out that Target is offering a free five dollar gift card. Although, if I've read this source correctly, that's only with the standard single-disc version. I'm seriously thinking about buying at least three copies from different stores, taking the exclusive stuff and trying to sell off the extra DVDs.
  21. Dude, don't feel too bad. I entered 500 codes (the maximum allowed) and I only got one. I do know a couple guys who wound up winning more than one. I'll ask them if they'd be willing to let one go. Expect a PM about it soon.
  22. I just got the latest E-Spectrum e-mail and it had this great piece of news in it. "With the fourth series of Battlestar Galactica Minimates already announced, who knew there would be more. Available through Diamond Previews, this exclusive two-pack features the fearless Kat aka Louanne Katraine aka Sasha! Whatever her name is, she's packaged with a heavy duty Mortar Pack Cylon ready to shoot her out of the sky!" The e-mail also states that the Back to the Future and 24 4-packs are available at the DST store.
  23. It's called humour (though if you're American it's called humor. Lord only knows what you lot have against the letter 'u'?) You'll look back on this post in ten years time and laugh. Oh yes you will. In America we believe the letter 'u' should serve a purpose other than silently popping up in random words just to make them look fancy. It's in the constitution, right next to the chilli-dog stain.
  24. Hey, if any of you guys participated in Pepsi's TransformYourSummer promotion a couple months ago and hadn't received anything, there is still hope. I just got a Pepsi Prime in the mail today!
