TF Con was fun! I sold a crap-load of stuff and made an obscene amount of money. I picked up the Universe figures and a few other goodies. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures because my table was non-stop busy all day but I got some nice pictures of the City Commander Ultra Magnus Upgrade kit and the new Matrix/mini-Megatron set they had displayed. Check them out here. Classics 2.0 is a subset of the Universe line.

I agree about Lugnut. I was so surprised that he instantly became one of my favorites. I've just been offered the opportunity to set up a table with a friend at TF Con in Toronto this Saturday. This is particularly tempting since the Universe toys are supposed to be available. I'd love to do it but I'm going to have to scramble just to get everything ready.

Well, I'm still waiting for mine. Last week, the comic store said they'd be in today. Today, Diamond sent them one two-pack instead of the case they ordered. Ah, Diamond.

I hit the Motor City Comic Con today. There weren't a whole lot of Minimates but I pretty much bought everything I didn't have yet. I got the Classic BSG set for $15, the Daredevil/Elektra pack for $5, the regular X-3 packs for $8 a piece and the variant pack for $12.

Hmm...A liitle bit less than I was expecting from these sets. Maybe they'll be more exciting in person. MINI_MYTE, I'm getting the impression from your pictures that Marty's torso is reversable with just a shirt on one side and shirt-with-the-stove-door on the other. Is that the case or is it just a different torso in the part swap pic?

That was my favorite part! Is it just me or did Master Disaster's logo look like a modified Maximal symbol? That's why this guy rocks!

The preorder at BBTS has them listed as "3rd Quarter 2008" so that would mean by September, right? That seems a bit early, doesn't it?

Patience is the key to this game. Hasbro has already stated that wave 1 figures will be available through at least wave 4. I don't expect any problem with finding any of them since it seems none of them will be short-packed.

I've actually been thinking about picking up a couple Micro Aggression sets for the folding chairs to see how those would work. Perhaps I'll pick up a ring while I'm at it, too.

On another note (just because I want to post something without hiding it behind bars), I picked up the TRU Wingblade and Jetstorm today. They are neat.

The only Deluxe Magatron I'm aware of is the one from the 2-pack. I'm pretty sure Starscream is only being released in Voyager class.

Honestly, I don't know what's scarier. The aryan anarexic Barricade, or the few dozen 300 pound women wandering around in costumes of characters they wish to accept robot dong from. *shudder* Fangirls: the best kept secret of the fandom... for a reason. What I found weird was that everyone in costumes, aside from the Spike and Sparkplug guys, were all girls. Well, that and the fact that the girl in the Elita-1 costume was carrying around a clear plastic cube filled with what appeared to be piss.
