Oh man! That Colossus chest looks incredible... Storm's billowing cape looks amazing... And Sunfire looks great with the orange flight stand and flame hands! Just got a lot more excited for this wave after seeing those!

If you want pictures they are on page one of this thread. Zach, any chance we could get a shot of the new teleport base that comes with Nightcrawler? I remember wanting a closer look when the initial pics came out.

My only issue with minimate database is that it only has "extras" in the lists. Like hairpieces only includes the extra hairpieces with sets, but not ones that are already on figures. So Jubilee's hair with the glasses down is on the list but not the hair with the glasses up. Be great to have them all show up on those lists. Marrina looks like what I was looking for, but didn't think of it because she is sitting on my shelf. Luckily I remember the A.F. sets being cheap. Thanks for the suggestions!

Doing some painting and working on a couple things and I've hit a wall putting together a Surge custom. Cannot find a good hair piece for her. Any suggestions anyone has? Painting it isn't an issue more just finding a solid base to start with. Thinking maybe Hope Van-Dyne or trimming the wings and the back of a Morrigan hairpiece?

He was for sure intended to be Changeling, which is what bigvis is saying. Here is Changeling without his helmet on: And here's animated Morph: The faces are almost identical. Morph was definitely intended to be the Changeling. AoA Morph is the one that confuses everything but I'm pretty sure he is intended to be completely separate from animated Morph and Changeling.

Would love that wave! But maybe change one of the guards to Vulcan or Korvus?

Either of those would be perfect and be a step closer to getting a complete brotherhood after which I feel like needs to happen after wave 60.

68 is September and 69 is October. That puts 70 in November launching around the Dr. Strange movie.

Stopped by TRU (Rochester, MN) today looking for the Civil War exclusive (no luck) but they did have brand new cases of these out. Anyone still looking for these?

Probably wouldn't hurt to have him taller. He's supposed to be like 6'6" outside of metal form and grow by a full foot in metal form. He shouldn't be as bulky as Hulk, or Juggs, but he's taller than Juggs when in his metal form.

Nope, they've never put them on their website... Also fair warning to others; DO NOT look up Minimates on the Walgreens site... It brings up very, very, VERY bad results. namely products for ladies... enjoyment.

On that cover they sure do, but they looked amazing when drawn by other artists. Those costumes and heroes are hands down at the top of my list of most wanted mates.

On the Aria fig? It doesn't come off. If you are using the figures for customs though the Miranda fig just needs some decals to make a pretty accurate Monet in her current look which is my plan.

I've been seeing some really bizarre stuff with Walgreens mates... About a month ago I stopped in at one of the two Walgreens in town and took a peek. The only mate on the shelf was a Captain America and Hulk Wave 1 set, but the figures inside are clearly a Ultimate Nick Fury from TRU 20 (in Caps spot) and what appears to be a partial TMNT figure with no shell and no paint on the face (in Hulk's spot.) I may try to snap a picture if it's still there next time I check for... well anything besides Wave 1 at my stores. Then this past week my girlfriend was going to the other Walgreens and knew I was trying to find a Man-Thing (lol just no way for that sentence to not sound odd.) She called me to say there was no Man-Thing but she found a Starlord and Groot and knows I love those 3 characters. I told her to buy it and when she got home I opened the pack to find that one of the spots for Groot's feet was empty, the space for Rocket was also empty, Star-Lord had no blaster, and the one foot I had for Groot had the peg broken off in the bottom of Groot's leg... Gotta think both of those packs had been opened and messed with. I think it's more an issue of people at Walgreen's suck sometimes.

Really hope the fedora on Noir Spidey is removable... Hoping he can be displayed sans jacket and hat or with them. Zalso Squirrel Girl!!!!

If you do find any I'm interested in a Power Princess/Iron Man, and the Man-Thing/Spyder Knight. Most are likely after those since they are the new figs though.

Ahh yeah that one. That makes sense since it's the only one that hasn't been made from that team. I completely spaced that costume. Back on topic, what are the chances of people buying a full case selling the extras on here? The only two that interest me at all are Laura and Logan so I probably won't go the full case route for those two.

Doubt we ever see those New X-Men looks. Outside of Prodigy and Laura has anyone from those books been on panel in the last 2 years? That whole Childhood's End story is soooo good though...

Stopped by my TRU this morning and still nothing... Then again their Marvel mates consisted entirely of two Nova/Carnage packs, a single Stealth Spidey/Sandman pack, and a lonely Klaue/Hulk pack that's been there probably 8 months. I did see that the Indie wave and Muppets mates are clearance right now at $3.98 though and plenty of those in stock.

Never even saw that wave at mine. It's a bummer as well because I'd like to use the coat from the Wolverine for a Mastermind custom. We have a ton of the TMNT and Indie comic waves as peg warmers and the only Marvel are the CW ones.

Bah! May have to take a road trip to the twin cities... The TRU that is 6 blocks from my place has so few mates on the shelves, and seemingly no marvel mates ever.
