If so, I'm sure we'll get both a red and a black Spidey (hopefully without one of them suffering the fate of being a variant), with Sandman and Venom as givens. To fill out the ranks, you probably get Harry in the Goblin guise and the supposed 4th villain from the movie (Bruce Campbell as Mysterio?!) If there's no 4th villain, then you get two civilians, with one playing the role of variant. A1: Red Spidey A2: Goblin B1: Black Spidey B2: Venom C1: Sandman C2: Aunt May or Peter Parker Chase: Uncle Ben or Aunt May We can play this game for anything. Who would make the line up for a Defenders wave? Great Lakes Champions? Regular Champions? Uncanny X-Men? Regular X-Men? New X-Men? Runaways? Young Avengers? Mighty Avengers? Omega Flight? Thunderbolts? And that's just the heroes. I want to see the Masters of Evil, the Circus of Crime (highly unlikely), the Sinister Six, and oh so much more. Special two packs of MODOK and an AIM buckethead. Hydra agent with one of their leaders. Hand agent with Elektra or Ronin. My heroes are tired of playing Civil War. It's more of a catchup with the Marvel U. wave than any specific team. Iron Spidey+Modern IM Cable+Deadpool Vision+Hawkeye ( to round out the Avengers wave.) Chase: 'Back in Black' Spiderman, done with torso highlights in dark blue like spiderwoman to make it different to the original Black spidey. ok so it's a cheap wishlist wave for me. That is exactly the "wish-list" that I had(except the variant was a transluscent "astral form" Dr. Strange). And you're right, I'm afraid that at the moment it is a "long-shot"...damn shame. I am really hoping for a continuation of the Avengers theme for 17 (since Hawkeye and Vision got snubbed :'( ) along with characters such as: Antman, Wasp, Tigra, Ms. Marvel(Warbird), Black Knight, Yellowjacket, Ultron 5, Kang, etc. However, I unfortunately have to agree that it will more than likely be Spiderman-oriented to coincide with SM3's release (although I would personally prefer a "villan-heavy" comic wave). I thought it was going to be another marvel movie wave like daredevil movie or spiderman movie. But perhaps they're taking another direction cuz they hadn't had good reviews about the ideas or things they decided to come out with. Like the Ghost Rider minimates. I've read all over the internet and noticed there seems to be more people who HATE that minimate line more than anything and plus don't care for the x-men minimate line (15) either. I don't blame them. Marvel needs to get creative. Start making characters that haven't ever been made or thought of. Like Stryfe or Mr Sinister. Or Dr Strange or Nimrod or something. Someone cool and not too popular. Thats what we need. They need to show us that there is more to marvel than just x-men/spiderman/ironman/hulk/daredevil, etc. I can't exactly make a good guess on wave 17. This might be a far fetched one.. DEFENDERS OF THE UNIVERSE: Galactus/Cosmic Frankie Raye Doctor Strange/Clea Watcher/Eternity. And Variant being 1602 Dr Strange. lol. I know this might be a far fetched guess but seeing that wave 14 and 15 are marvel movie waves. 16 and 17 (my version) would probably be the best bet to be going together. Because wave 16 has Thor/Loki and the Avengers. Well Thor and Loki are pretty immense beings if ya ask me. And their wave would go perfect with the one i made up i think anyways. Well tell me what ur ideas are for wave 17. Or maybe they'll just quit with minimates all together? LOL! That would be aweful. Cuz then we'd have to rely on people who custom make things.
