There were a couple made actually. Dragon Models Limited (DML, or just Dragon) made a NY Detective Chow. It's cheap and pretty easy to find. Another company called Armoury made a SDU figure (Special Duties Unit) of Chow as well. That one is a little more expensive. The dragon one can be found for between 20-30 bucks. The Armoury one can be found for between 70-100 bucks.

Finding gear for the female truetypes can be difficult, unless you use older companys male gear, like Dragon Models. But, there are some other female figures on the market from a few years ago like CyGirls. And ZYToys makes a few female figures. Also, NR, what store did you find that has the 1/6th gear? Is it a brick and mortor store, or online?

;) That's great news, for all of us. I called my Borders again today, and the girl finally found them in the computer; i recall her saying "Aha!! Minimates!!" She said they were definitely n order as of the 27th of March, so give them about a week or two. Works for me!!

Went to my local Borders today. My wife used to work there, so we still know people there. I asked about the Borders' exclusives and they brought them out to me. I was told that they just got them in.
