Captain Minimate
Hey! So I just got back from San Francisco a couple weeks ago and I bought a Tablet there. It's a Bamboo Pen & Touch from the Wacom company and I was hoping some of you guys might have some tips, tricks or anything that could help me get used to this. Thanks! blacksun1520
I have a Wacom Intuos 4 and all I can tell you is that it takes some time to get used to. Try out different nibs for the pen, you'll get different results depending on how hard or soft it is. And you also need to be careful, since the pen will work even when it hovers over the tablet a little, so until you get a feel for it, it's easy to make marks accidentally, or click on things when you don't mean to, especially in Adobe Illustrator I love it for making precise selections in Photoshop, it takes sooo much less time. It's great for free hand drawing too obviously, I'm sure you'll like it. BS
TM2 Dinobot
I've got a Wacom 3 but no pen. Or manual. or install kit. So essentially ive got the expensive part. I do have the mouse though.
