I'm baaaaaack!

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

some of you may remember me from the old AA forums as the kid who made a Jack Skellington Minimate for an art project, in which I used Mr. Fantastic stretchy arms as legs. Some of you may remember me for having way too many ideas, and not enough time to do them. And some of you may remember me for saying I'm going to be doing packaging for Doctor Who Minimates for my GCSE Graphics project. Or not.

Well, if you don't know who the heck I am and what that last paragraph was about, I'm gerg. again. I'm English and keen to make lots of custom Minimates, so the Custom forum is probably where I'll be seen most of the time. For those that do know me from the old AA forums, I'll just simply say that I've bothered to migrate.

Oh, and thanks for all the help on the survey I asked Ady Carter to post. The autumn term has now started, and I think I've decided on the Minimates I'll be making. Those "character themed packs" really threw me. So this is how I see it... I'll be having one major villain/major hero per series. There will be one classic Doctor Who set (perhaps painted in monochrome, I might add) per series, and one minor villain/minor hero set, depending on whether it's a major villain or a major hero. The waves, of which Wave 1 I'll actually be making (a Dalek is in Wave 2, so I'll probably make him anyway, just to show off). Each set will have a box shaped like the TARDIS, which will open up and reveal an inside themed like a character-related episode. For example, the Doctor's set will show the interior of the TARDIS, whilst the Dalek's will be themed like the underground base.

Wave 1

---------

The Doctor (David Tennant)

Ursula Blake

[Classic (pre-new series) character with associated character]

Elton Pope (great inter-set interaction, eh?)

Abzorbaloff

CHASE: Victor Kennedy

Wave 2

---------

Jack Harkness

Random person from Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways

[Classic (pre-new series) character with associated character]

Dalek

Soldier

CHASE: Henry Van Statten

Comments and help greatly appreceated,

- gerg.
