for the version WITHOUT the choking hazard label. Out of the many...too many...mini posters that have come along with the new waves, only one doesn't have it. Production error? Any light to shed on this? As side note, I laminated the non-warning version. lol just in case

The posters that came with the TRU Minimates did not have the hazard label. The posters that came with the Minimates that were released in comic stores did have the label.

This strikes me as really odd and backward. You'd think that with the TRU minimates being in mass-market (and thus within the reach of little kids shopping with their parents), they'd actually be the ones that'd come with the warning label. Meanwhile I'm fairly sure that a lot of the people who buy minimates at comic shops are adult collectors, and thus shouldn't really necessitate theirs having the label... not unless we really do have a couple of nutjobs here who bite their mates for closer inspection...

My guess would be that a first batch or posters was printed and packed in the TRU Minimates before someone realized they left off or needed to add the hazard notice. The later-shipping Minimates for the specialty market had time to get the correct poster.
