neolego
Alright, I know there are TONS of programs and websites that can help you download YouTube videos, but I've never used one before. I need something that's Free and can download or convert the file to a .wmv file so I can play it on my Xbox 360 and Computer. Are there any sites or programs that you guys use regularly that you would recommend. I don't want a lot of banner crap or something that drags my PC down or something that is unsafe. So, what do you guys say?? neo

neolego
I have, I've used Google and YouTube, my problem is there are tons of videos and sites that want you to download this and install that. about 5 years ago the same thing happened with me and LimeWire. I was looking for some sound effects for an event and a guy told me about LimeWire. However, it ended up crashing my computer and I had to buy another one. So, I was hoping someone could recommend something to me. I trust you guys and know you wouldn't tell me to do something that would harm my computer. That's why I asked. neo

Bob Harris
I suggest, you use this link here, which I do trust, because you don't have to download anything, except the video. Just copy/paste the url, klick on download and then right click, save as. After saving, rename the file as a xyz.flv file. now you have a working flash file, which you can watch at least on your computer. (for example with the vlc-player.) If you want to convert the flv to a wmv file, I'd use Super. And you don't have to wait untill december for this one Edited September 16, 2008 by Bob Harris
