If I brought one of these home, I would feel like a total perv and my wife would not like it at all. Yeah, I realize that the absurdity of what all of us do here (collecting children's things) makes it hard to criticize specific things like this without opening oneself up to a certain amount of criticism, and maybe that does make me a hypocrite on a certain level for judging the existence of these things. But man. . .big-breasted, scantily clad cartoon characters? With their legs spread open like that? That crosses a line, doesn't it? Perhaps, a line that shouldn't have ever been crossed? I've walked down the streets of your town many times Shanester, and seen some things that have made me feel, to put it lightly, a little queasy and uncomfortable, but that stuff I can at least begin to understand. This, though? I literally can not make myself understand the motivations behind someone who would buy it. Oh, well, it does take all kinds to make this world an interesting place. . .I guess. I've unfortunately seen comics and show and even a game review on G4, that showed alot worse than this (they attempted to pixilate it, and either didn't do a very good job or didn't care). While I agree with you guys that these are weird, creepy, etc. I really don't think they are that big a deal. This particular figure looks like it references a type of anime for adults, if you will that's hugely popular in Japan. I found it it's called Hentai. You have to realize that in Nippon, that is japan to you gaijin, animation is an equal, if not better, story telling device to live action. So animated characters being sexy is not really an odd thing to them. And you can't tell me at sometime in your life you haven't looked at one of the scantily clad vixens in comics or video games and not thought dirty thoughts. Black Cat, Tigra, Starfire, Catwoman, Lara Croft, the DoA girls, why do they wear next to nothing, because we as readers/gamers pay attention and probably wouldn't care for characters, as much, if they were all wearing baggy turtle necks and baggy britches.
