It overheated an actually melted some of the glue that kept the heatsink over the processer, nice clunk and pc death. Luckly I had money saved for such a rainy day. So I'm back with something I hope lasts me as long as my last one. Intel2 QuadCore 2.4mhz Nvidea 8600GTS 500GB HDD 2GB DDR and a really funky black ATX case that lookslike Vaders facemask. Consider yourself really lucky my old roomates' actually smoked really bad and left a few black marks up the wall. Wasn't really a big deal since we were awake and the dog started barking. buttheadsmate Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 My PC died January 5th this year. One clap of thunder provoked a power-surge that zapped everything including the power-surge protector.
