Jatta Pake
I picked up the new Mattel Batmobile at Target the other day. Although it is designed for the 3.75" figures, I think it's more in scale with the Minimates. Now I have another custom to get around to doing... Vigilante
That looks like a perfect fit! Minimates don't seem to look out of place on this set either. Now if only we had a movie Batman to go with it Vig Edited May 31, 2008 by Vigilante
Jad
Jatta, how much does this cost? I take it this is a Target exclusive? Can you post a pic or a link of it in the box? Thanks much!
Chazwinski
Yeah, that looks great. Maybe, I won't have to get a C3 batmobile on e-bay now!
captain_cbecker
The new Lego "Tumbler" batmobile is also pretty cool. I bet it might not be too hard to modify the kit for minimates. I've seen it at Toys R Us & Walmart
Jatta Pake
JadOnTV - I don't know if it is exclusive to Target, but the price was $9.99.
Fo Shizzle
I just got back from my local Target and they didn't have it that I could see. But I also did go to Walmart and saw this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Batman-Dark-Knight-SHIF...0QQcmdZViewItem That looked like it could work as far as fitting a Mate inside. But in my opinion, the car looked too big to display with a Mate hanging outside of it. But soem of you may not think so I figured I'd share! Onyx_6
The new Lego "Tumbler" batmobile is also pretty cool. I bet it might not be too hard to modify the kit for minimates. I've seen it at Toys R Us & Walmart I picked this set up at Walmart for $45 and the Tumbler is a perfect fit. It is almost like it was designed for minimates and not Legos. The only modification required is the removal of the steering wheel (which should have been more like helicopter controls, but who cares). Then Batman fits with his hood on as long as you bend his knees slightly. This was a very good purchase. Oh, and I will post pics as soon as I can. murderofcrows
I got one this weekend at a local Target. All I can say, is this thing was MEANT for minimates. By comparison a 3.75-4 inch figure looms over this thing The minimate size is perfect for it. I will definitely display this in my batcave display, along with the 1:50 scale batcycle from hot wheels. Now to find a giant penny....

Jatta Pake
Thanks for the pics, MOC! This may be just the alchohol talking, but the red (or orange) and white on the batcycle just seems wrong. What is this cycle from? The Batman TV show from the 60s? Anyone know? I don't recognize it from the comics. I'm not big on the sidecar either (although Sidecars are one of my favorite drinks!). Is the sidecar removeable? I think I will pass on this cycle even though it matches perfectly size-wise.

While I wasn't crazy about the colors either...it just fits soooo well with minimate size i absolutely could not pass it up. the side car IS removable... 2 screws in the bottom of the bike. I haven't taken it off yet, but feel I will before too long. if you ever think about making a bat cave dio...I highly recommend it, even it isnt perfect. It is a good bat fit! more detailed pics to come moc847
Fo Shizzle
Did anybody else notice the handlebars in the sidecar? Maybe it has the ability to split and Robin can have his own mini-batcycle when he needs it...although if they attached it to the toy with screws it's not really meant for it to be separated. Which kinda sucks... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B0...2369&sr=8-1 Edited June 4, 2008 by Fo Shizzle
hypno
Great Batcave ideas in this thread, I'm liking the tumbler and the giant penny! Anyone know of a big green T-Rex that would work?

Ivan
One of the alternate models for the new Lego Stegosaurus is a big green T.Rex with glowing eyes. I think in the Creator lines they include instructions for the various alt models. (bottom-center)
