boonimusprime
I seem to lose hands all the time. Specifically Dr Doom's.
TM2 Dinobot
Okay, this id driving me crazy. Somehow I love my GSX Colossus's foot. Not the boot but the foot. It was a real GSX and not the Target one, so I'm fairly upset. Any one have a spare foot they want to trade for a hand? :/ Oh wow. And my 4 pack Magneto is missing too. Friends! Keep your minimates from me! I'm a terror!
TBT!
Somehow I love my GSX Colossus's foot. I believe they call this a fetish T.

Alpheon
The ONLY Minimate piece I have EVER lost (and am still extremely upset about) is Carnage's small hand. I've lost others too, but after a frantic search lasting for nearly two days I always wind up finding them. Carnage's hand though, has been gone for two years. Also, for the heck of it: fetish [FACERE <L. "to make"] n: An object believed to possess magical power. --------------------------------------------------------------- ^^Is that right? TM2 Dinobot
That's crazy. Why do they call a sexual obsession a Fetish then?

TBT!
Not sure where you pulled that description from Alph but it's not quiet complete it's a 'specialised' explaination... fetish (RELIGIOUS OBJECT) noun [C] SPECIALIZED an object which is worshipped in some societies because it is believed to possess a spirit or special magical powers It's the worshipped part that probably ties it to the usually accepted ( see below) use of the word. fetish (INTEREST) noun [C] 1 a sexual interest in an object or a part of the body other than the sexual organs: 2 an activity or object which you are so interested in that you spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about it or doing it T. Alpheon
I believe my definition was speaking of a good luck charm, such as a rabbit's foot, etc. I actually didn't pull it from anywhere; that's jsut what I remembered from the dictionary definition, hence the erroneous description. Interesting, though; I've just learned more about what a fetish is then I ever wanted to know.
