neolego
WHAT !?!?!?!?!! ICEMAN !!!!! WHERE DO I SIGN Sorry about that, I couldn't resist. As far as the LEGOs go, I have see them. I've thought about getting the Batcave myself just to connect it with my 3 C3 Batcaves. But, alas, I'm having a baby in two weeks and still trying to get all the "Cars" cars so something has to be put on the back burner . neo
THE_CRIPPLER
I bought the Batmobile and Batboat. The vehicles are cool, but the figures are poo.
drkknight001
I kind of want the Batcave too, so I can expand my cave even more (it's currently made of 2 c3 caves). My only issue is that LEGO, especially licenced LEGO, is usually expensive. Has anyone seen a price point on this set yet? I want to remember locally the Batwing is almost $50... Reideen1313
$89.99 for the cave.
AdyCarter
$89.99 for the cave. Thats not too bad. Reideen, you were a consultant on this line right? Any word on UK retailers and release daes?
minivenom
To any of you who are on the fence about this line: buy them. Especially if you liked C3. LEGO's line is way better than the C3 line was, and the minifigs are really cool. Sure, they're nowhere near as posable as the Minimates, but they are still neat little figures in their own way. Besides, if articulation was all that mattered, we'd all be singing the praises of a different block figure that will not be named.
Andimus Prime
I remember seeing these on toynewsi.com a few months back, there's going to be an Arkham set (with several new additions to Batman's rogues gallery) and a Batcave set (complete with Alfred). featofstrength
I bought the Batboat and Batmobile, chucked the dumpy Lego people aside, and converted the vehicles to fit minimate Batman.
minivenom
Hey, if you don't want the minifigs, I'd be glad to take them off your hands. I have a bunch of common Minimates I'd be willing to trade. PM me if you want to get rid of them.
warbunny
Yea, lego men are harder to get cause they only come in sets, i wouldnt just chuck em.
TM2 Dinobot
Man, the new Arkum has like Poison ivy, Mr. Freeze and Nightwing! Frickin Nightwing, TAS style! I really love Legos. They were my first love. Even before Transformers and way before Minimates. I still have them all. Man, it's a good thing toys aren't girls, or mine would all be jelouse all the time. featofstrength
i didnt chuck em' as in "throw them away". I would never do that to anything Batman or comics related. i just said that to illustrate my belief that DC minimates are far superior figures to the dumpy Batman lego people. warbunny
Oh most certainly minimates outrank legos anyday. Ya know, kubricks are just legos with turnable wastes.
minivenom
Ugh. No respect for the original block figure. Thank LEGO that we have Kubricks and Minimates, I say.
Danny
Definitely, I loved Lego when I was a kid. Had tonnes of the stuff from about 1978 onwards - City and Space were big then, afterwards the Castle stuff got big. I love going through the Lego sites and seeing pictures of sets I made when I was like 6 years old Makes me feel warm inside.
warbunny
Yes, i still remeber running into my brothers room, climbing the shelfs in his closet, and reaking havoc upon all of his lego world. Its suprising the destuction a three year old can make.... brings me back, it does.
