cdubya
Nice set-up Punisher! The Hydroman "effect" is especially inspired. I love these sets. I picked up 2 for $14 each and the "Goblin Lab" for $9 when Target was clearancing them (kind'a wish I bought more, but funds were tight). I still need the "Construction" one, but I'm waiting for TRU to have their usual "buy 2 get one free" sale to get this and some PotC sets. MegaBloks are great (scale, accessories, and of course...price)regardless of what LEGOcentrics would have you believe!
Dan
Man, this is cool! I like doing things like this, but don;t have a good backdrop for it. Is this Lego? I'll have to try and find some like this. As everyone said, that Hydroman is well cool, I'd never have thought of using it like that. Can't wait to get this boxed set!

Leoric
Very nice. Where did you get such a nice Goblin Glider. I have been looking for one that authentic. The one that came with the first SM movie lego set wasn't even close enough to the comic one. Thats a clever use of Hydroman I didn't know you could do that with figure. Dan
Yeah I was wondering about that too. I use one that I made from my C3 Batcycle pieces, which looks ok, but is really the wrong colour. I look forward to your next piece. Does anyone know where I could get that mega blocks set, or another one like it in UK? Thanks.

Argos, Sainsbury?).

That particular glider is from the ToyBiz's "Marvel Figure Factory:Green Goblin" set (which is a bit large, but has nice "smoke-trail" base). The "Marvel Towers" set from MegaBloks has a really nice glider(with C3 compatible feet-pegs even!) which I am currently using (not to mention the nice 'lil building). It even has a clear "stunt-stick" that you can attach to the glider to fly-around or attach to other building-blocks for display. Both are out of production now, but you may find them on-line or ebay.

I have the greed goblin one, and just replaced the goblin figure with the minimate. I also have the nightcrawler one which you guys will all see when i post pics of my collection, and i have the doom one, but i need a doom minimate before i can do his display. i also had the hulk one, but theres nothing i can do with it, minimate wise. Im gunna have to look on ebay for the ghost rider, cyclops, wolverine, and fantastic four ones because those are perfect for minimate display. heres a link to all the sets: http://www.toybiz.com/showbrand.htm?id=
Leoric
Thanks both of you. I am going to check on eBay for them. I need to have a good glider because I want to do a recreation of that classic Spider-Man cover where he's unmasked and being hauled through the air by GG. ReddogG
Very cool use of Figure Factory parts Punisher=D....my 9 yr old son collects mates, legends, SHS, and FF...never thought of using those bases with mates....he's pumped now for some new combos. Congrats! It's a nice 'lil set don'cha think? Man I miss KB and their wonderful clearance toys. I don't believe that I ever purchased any "new" toys from them (unless it was a hard to find figure) due to their over-pricing, but clearance items....bag-loads. Sadly, it's probably why they all disappeared in my area! They should have just gone "discount toy liquidator" and they'd probably still be around!
