Lantern Returns Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Hey I don't know how many of you are fans of the Spirit, but I've got to say your missing out. The original stuff by Mr. Eisner is amazing and very advanced for it's time. The new series by Mr. Cooke is very much in tune with Eisner's work. So I've decided to do a minimate of the Spirit for my collection. I'm thinking of taking the blue suit from one of the 24 characters, Hal Jordan's masked face for the head, and the white shirt, red tie from Back to the Future. I don't know what to do for the hat. The Spirit's hat is a blue fedora. I was thinking of using the fedora from Grave Digger in the Ghost Rider line, but the hair might ruin it, since I'd like to still have some visiable hair ala the Riddler from C3. I'm not sure how you would make yours as I'm not much of a custom doer, but I just wanted to let you know how awesome a Spirit minimate would be. Lantern Returns Posted February 25, 2007 Author Share Posted February 25, 2007 I think the hat I'll have to use will have to come from a Rocky minimate, the suit is already made from one of the Battlestar minimates, and the white shirt and red tie will come from Back to the Future. Should be pretty easy, all I'd have to do is paint the hate, gloves, and mask on face, then wammo. Can't wait till the pieces fall into place. I'd pick: Spirit and Ebony Dolan and Ellen P'Gell and Beat up Spirit I'd like to get the Octopus in there, but he'd just be some gloves. He looks like he is wearing a black suit now, bummer, was hoping to just get a simple suit out of that line. Look on the DST site to see the debut of the 2nd BSG wave for the guy I'm talking about.
