Marquis de Carabas
It's always sad to see a founding-father of the comic world pass away, I think i'll always remember him best for Hawkman.
hellpop
Kubert was basically the last link left to the Golden Age, and an amazing artist, even in his last years. He was just at a comic book convention (or at least scheduled to be) in Allentown last weekend that I was planning to go to, but didn't make it to, darn it. bigvis497
Bummer, always loved his stuff. I even did a project on his work for an art class in college. This hits me pretty hard. RIP Joe.
boyd
Damn. He was a true artist and storyteller.
fatcow
Damn. He was a true artist and storyteller. Sad thing is, kids growing up now, including my own son, despite however much I try to push older comics on him will end up reading things like Marvel NOW!...while I will wait to pass judgement on it. I am worried and saddened by Kubert's passing.
highassroller
Rest in Peace, Joe Kubert's impact will be felt forever.
Shanester
This really sucks. I feel bad for the Kubert boys as losing a parent really hurts. Selfishly, I am upset because I have a litho I was hoping to get him to sign at C2E2. The Kuberts are some of my favorite artists.
