I don't own any of these "premium" figures (yet), but that Darth Talon Premium Format figure is a frickin' thing of beauty. $279 for one figure just seems outrageous. I was looking at the site and it states that it's made of polystone. Is that like a ceramic or something? I was just wondering how fragile that figure would be. Seems like it should be indestructable for nearly $300...

If I followed this rule of thumb, 99.9% of my stuff would be gone! I have a quarter of my garage taken up with 90-gallon totes FILLED with toys. Half of my bedroom closet is filled with toys. They're on my desk at work and home. They're in my living room. It's quite ridiculous. I know I have a problem, but can't stop. I've thought about going through it and deciding what I like "best". The problem is that I love it all in some way. Even the most cheesy, lame toy has its own charm. How much time and effort went into finding them all? Countless hunts. Hundreds of hours. I wouldn't get nearly what I paid for them. These are my rationalizations. I want out, but don't know where to begin... I've really reigned my toy buying in lately. My girlfriend thinks I'm going off the deep end because this is such a departure from the compulsively buying, tote fillilng, tote stacking hoarder that she has come to love over the past 2+ years.

I never got an email, but one appeared in my mail today. I have no idea if it was for a question, a comment, a widget, or just so I'd stop complaining about not having one in this thread...

I've had Wii Sports Resort since it came out and finally tried archery last night with my girlfriend. It rocks! They should make a first-person Green Arrow game like that!

...so...Transformers. Anybody here? Did you pick up the new DVD? What version? Any thoughts? I went to WM to get the single-disc Big Screen edition, but they were out. Out? Yeah, because there's only a 2-disc edition. There is no single-disc edition. I'm an idiot. I guess my frugal ass is burning a $20 for the double disc action! (Why is it that I wouldn't think twice about dropping $20 on toys, but it's ridiculous to spend that on a single movie?)

As cool as these figures are, roughly $30 (with shipping) is waaay too much. I wouldn't mind a Skeletor though...

First off, congrats to the Saints. Their offense is potent to say the least. They are looking tough and gave the Giants a much needed wake up call. We'll see you guys again for some revenge in the playoffs... Secondly, Tom Brady had a great game. It's about time. He's my fantasy QB and he hasn't been his usual self this year. Glad to see that the Titans inspired him!
