I got John in the mail today as well and thanks go around to everybody involved in this. If it wasn't for you guys I don't know what I'd do. Seriously thank you so much (not just for John but the board and the hospitality of all its members), I've been a part of many boards in my time and this place is easily the greatest.

I don't think it should be called a Minimate when its taller than my mom, seriously thats like a Megamate or something.

I had that problem too, I think that after the contest is done we'll start a thread for out 'leftovers' T. Sounds like a great idea, I have a few figures I want to use but won't because I think they might be open to interpretation.

I'm totally in, I'm bad at painting so I've made alot of quick customs. I have 2 questions: Accessories, do they have to be pure Minimate (Ie: no items made from Lego's or Gi Joe weapons)? Also will the entries be judged by total comic book accuracy or style (for example one of my potential entries has the same color scheme as the charcters costume but in diffrent areas because if I went for total accuracy it would come out looking weird)? Also do you want us to send in a parts recipe along with our entrie?

I hope mine got through as well. How bad have the supermodel mails gotten? I mean has it gotten up to all caps lock subject lines or fake ones yet?

I once tried once tried to work out to the point of which I had a Liefeld body, I was successful but my back and my legs broke because they were unable to support my massive accidentally drawn from 2 perspectives upperbody muscles. Just kidding; I don't really mind Liefeld, he just needs to stick to action comics, thats where he works best. As to Moobs Captain America he need to be accidently designed from 2 perspectives thats how that gem was drawn. It was a promo piece too!!!! What kind of message does that send to potential buyers?

Dang, I hope frog Thor comes out in a future way. Heck he could come with Thorbuster Iron Man or Beta Ray Bill.

The one line that I'd totally go crazy for, would be for some 2 inch minimates based on the game Metal Gear Solid. The price of these would be a bit more expensive than other Minimate lines (only 2 or 3 bucks more) , but the this would be because they'd be loaded with extra and character specific accessories (for example every Solid Snake Figure would include a Minimate-sized Cardboard box, Ocelot, Raven, and Wolf get their respectable weapons, several swapable body parts for charcters). A couple of waves of this and you could do waves based on the other games in the Metal Gear series. I remember seeing these on toynewsi.com a few months back, there's going to be an Arkham set (with several new additions to Batman's rogues gallery) and a Batcave set (complete with Alfred).

Mine fell off the back of a truck, if you catch my drift. I'm just kidding, I got waves 1-11, the Giant sized X-men pack, some C3, and the Dark Phoenix and Thanos 2-packs from my local comic shop, Prof. X and Magneto from AFX, Iron Fist and Powerman from Wizard Universe, and a boat load of cheap C3 and regular minimates from Toysrus.
