Hi everyone, I'm new to collecting minimates (for about 1.5 years) and was looking for some feedback for my current Marvel collection. I have some basic black bookcases I picked up at ikea to display my Minimates. I was inspired by Luke, so I'm using a tiered display (bleachers). I currently have rows of 7 displaying 8 minimates (full series). I can display two base sets as displayed in the picture as I cannot fit a 3rd base. However, in order to display a 3rd base set, I would only be able to display 7 out of the 8 minimates (removing the duplicates from certain series), which would free up more room and allow me to display my other work in progress collections. Should I keep my setup as is or should I go for the tighter fit and only display 7 minimates to fit an additional base set? Here are a few pictures that I just took Overall display Series 1-7 Series 8-14 Series 15-21 Series 22-28 Series 29-35 Series 35-42 The set isn't complete as I am missing a few. Series 43-48 are complete, but won't be displayed until I buy another 2-3 lego base (hopefully this weekend ).

Thanks Bob, I'll keep that in mind. I'm not familiar with the flea market, but how does that work? I'm at work right now, so if you could redirect me to the thread or website, I can look over it during my lunch break.

Hello, I'm new to collecting minimates (loose) (started about a year ago). I'm nearly complete with my Marvel Minimates collection and am just missing about 15 of them. I've been collecting 8 per set (includes the duplicate), but I ran into a problem with displaying them on my cab. I did find a solution for this, but it would require me to get rid of the duplicates and line the minimates in sets of 7. I was wondering what others collect? I can display a picture of how they look later tonight when I get off work and maybe you could could suggest that I keep my setup as is or try the 7 minimates per set to fit more on my cabs.
