No problem Storm 1:08, I'm not doing too much today, I got most of my stuff done Friday and Saturday. Today is more of a take it easy day. Though this is one of the busiest Sundays I have ever seen. It's worse than Friday. I'm just really surprised that toyark hasn't posted any pics or anything yet. There was someone who was taking notes and I thought they there for toyark. Because really what I'm telling everyone, doesn't do justice compared to the control art pics shown. Also on a side note, 2010 sdcc gold gators were given at the entry to the panel! -

With best of 2 hulk, he will come with parts to turn him into Bruce banner, just like with Ben Grimm/ thing in TRU 15 -

They just showed the group shot that marvel has been using. Zach said it will be a combo of main favorites, and new characters; and everyone will probably be surprised in a good way about the selection. -

My girlfriend asked if in the future with walking dead, how will handless Rick will be done. They said it should be an accessory, it was just a tampo for sdcc because it was a rush job. Only what has already been said. The showed off wave 2 pics and TRU 1 and 2 pics -

New comic Loki, with the new high shoulder Thor cape and large horns! I asked if we will see any more hanging masks like with wolvie and cap. They said if it makes sense and there is not a lot of tooling in the set, than yes. I also asked if on the army builders list they have doppleganger doombots and comic style frost giants. They showed that best of 2's doom could possible come with an extra unmadked head and battle damaged doombot head. they said that their army builder list is really long. -

The panel was crazy! There should be notes on it, some highlights: 2013 Tomb Raider game based line. Wave 49 will be Marvel NOW! AvX will be Protector, PFF Cyclops, Scarlet Witch, and Phoenix buster Iron Man. The others should make their way to TRU waves. Scarlet witch and Dr. Strange will both have have hands according to control art. There will be a Marvel best of series 2, with Mr. Fantastic and Dr. Doom, Daredevil and Venom, Hulk and Loki, Classic punisher and deadpool. Control art T-cats Wily Kitt and Katy will have slipper feet and their hover boards. More control art was shown for marvel wave 48 and TRU 15, from the control art, its not a face on silver surfers chest, just muscle detail. -
After seeing the TRU repaints, I know really want and will be picking up both LCS and TRU waves. Stealth Vorin has been my favorite so far, but that TRU Vorin is close behind.

Thundercats Minimates
SuperChefMate replied to delta chameleon's topic in TV, Movie, & Video Game Minimates
I talked to the people at AFX at nycc on Friday and I wasn't sure if this was already known, but: Thundercats box set 3 is going to come out in February and it will be just a online store sale. -
Wow, these all look really good to me, if I have any extra money left from nycc I know what I'm doing afterwards!
-
Well that makes sense then.
-
Just went to 2 of the 3 TRUs by me and nothing. Although mine are usually 3-6 weeks behind most for minimates.
-
I'm in Pennsylvania and mine are in, on route to pick them up. I'll check my TRU after that.
-
I'm still wondering how the "gameplay element" is going to work, and when we'll hear more about it. I'm really interested in what that might be like.
-
They are all over eBay. I hope this means I'll be getting a call from my LCS tomorrow!
-
The fact that it is a tampo, and not a bandaged stump accessory piece was the real issue for me. I don't really like how the "stump" has the wrist hole showing, just like AoA Wolverine did. Both disappointing.

Marvel Minimates Series 50: The Reality
SuperChefMate replied to DSTZach's topic in Marvel Minimates
Second! I Don't agree with all the hate on Cage. I mean, sure he made some unusual choices(career and life), but he was awesome in the 90s. I grew up with his action movies, and I still pull out Face Off from time to time. -
Greetings everyone! I am an avid, albiet somewhat novice minimate collector and long time lurke, over a year long. I have been collecting since 2006 and my collection is close to 450 mates. I collect pieces of everything, but marvel is my focal point. I also collect Captain America items, he is favorite hero.I fell in love with minimates because of the minimates themselves; the amount of characters and licenses are incredible, but what drew me in was the perfect 2 inch block figures with 14 points of articulation with such a high level of part swapping. I knew after a short time I would not be able to stop collecting these little pieces of awesome. It's great to finally join the ranks of the MMMV, I have been working 2 jobs as a lead line cook in the city of brotherly love. So having time to myself has been tough, hence the prolonged lurking. I now have a new job, a better job, and more time, not much more, but enough. I am glad to be able to actively participate here now, and I look forward to discussing minimates with all of you.
