Nice ideas. I think Maggie's hair would be darker than Rick's though. I'm considering putting Leg-Bite Zombie's head on the extra Michonne to make a Zombie Michonne. Not sure how that will look.

Growing up I always wanted my toys to exist in the same universe, but the scale was never right. Cobra Commander couldn't hang out with Skeletor, it looked ridiculous. Having so many in the exact same form with interchangeable parts is infinitely appealing to me. I collected the first few Marvel waves, but then stopped for one reason or another. Then I bought some Captain America movie minimates for my nephew's birthday and realized how much improvement had been made on an already cool design. Then I saw that Walking Dead minimates and I was back in. I told myself I'd only pick up TWD and some more Marvel guys, but soon I was picking up Expendables, SFxT, Universal Monsters, and army building MAX police officers, etc. I reviewed the MAX zombies set on my zombie blog and got a comment from Zach, which I thought was amazingly cool. That eventually led me here to the multiverse.

I'm not sure how I feel about that big mouth zombie. Looks a little strange.

That's what made Carol go crazy.

I guess we'll just have to find out when the Star Wars mates come out.

From the outside looking in with no particular interest in the debate, I gotta say that it seems like you're taking the death of UM line a little personally, monkey. I picked up a few of the sets, but there do seem to be a lot sitting around at my local TRUs. It stinks that we'll never see the Invisible Man, but I think they got the heavy hitters of that line out. Is Thief of Thieves a more viable line? Probably not, they're not really in direct competition. UM had a good run, honestly, not being a huge fan, I'm surprised it got more than 1 wave and boxsets (undoubtedly more than ToT will get). It was good, but it's over. I agree with almost everyone in that the minimate brand appears strong and I'm grateful for that. With that, the creators get some benefit of the doubt, even if I don't always agree with their moves or reasoning.

I think that is the TRU figure. He definitely should have a half arm. Doesn't make sense to have an eye patch and full arms.

If it is a 2.5 body, it would be a strange choice. Allen is a big guy in the comic, but I wouldn't think that he's huge enough to warrant a bigger body.

I don't think that Allen is actually a 2.5 mate. Just bulked up with big feet, a big head, big jacket, and probably a waist extender. He looks regular sized at the joints.

What do you think are the odds of getting a Quentin Tarantino mate? He does appear in Pulp Fiction and pretty much all of his movies.

I also love any mates that give us celebrity heads. They make up my MAX police force.
