    I wonder if there is some sort of DC curse going around? I mean, Keaton hasn't been as successful after he played Batman, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin ruined Joel Shumacher's reputation which he was only able to gain back after the excellent Phantom of the Opera film, George Reeves's had an odd death, Christopher Reeve's accident, and now Heath Ledger. What's going on here?

    But the real question here is what's going to happen to the film after Dark Knight? If the Joker survives Dark Knight, which I think he will, who will be the Joker in the sequel?

    James Dean,Bruce Lee?..... & for the record I actually thought Ledger was a superb actor & will be sorely missed.

    Is it just me, or is Sgt. Rock not possibly the coolest Minimate ever? The military theme, the BA gun, the articulation on the head, the bullets on the jacket, the dogtags, the helemt...

    Dude is rockin' his chest hair! That is BA.

    Sgt.Rock is a comic character I know little of. Sgt.Rock the Minimate is in my top three of all time fave 'mates. I buy a case of each DC Wave but ordered some(many!) more of this individually. I firmly believe this to be a real future classic.

    Well, I didn't get so much banned as I did asked to leave because "nobody wants you here". That makes the 6th or 7th site I've been banned from, but fortunately like the first major one I go to.

    My rounds on the internet are getting shorter and shorter.

    And before you ask, some sites, especially Transformer sites, have, or at least used to have, the habit of banning people who don't show up for months on end. Odd, I know. I think the traffic influx from the movie changed that.

    So yall will be seeing a lot more of me.

    But this does beg the question: are people just unable to stand me or is there something wrong with ME?

    There has been a secret vote TM2 &.......here is the consensus:

    95% would prefer that you didn't show up here for months.

    97% (not quite yall) would like to see less of you here.

    65% are just unable to stand you whilst 35% just cannot stand you.

    100% are sure there is something wrong with you.

    Please note that I wasn't able to vote this time but I think the comment 'nobody want's you here' should be voted on......it's a dead cert! :P

    No Kendra the Razor because of cut-backs,slashed prices & cut-throat marketing. Personally I'm foaming at the mouth (throat). I'm just a whisker away from throwing in the hot-towel. Anyway razor glasses......here's to Kendra.

    Dude, you need to chill out. What's your phone number? I'll call you from my Razor and see if we can't talk you down... :D

    I'm hanging on that one key line -- that this is start of a whole Razor series of 'Mates.

    Avoid the New Yorker. Looks fantastic from the outside but the rooms are tiny and the staff are anything but 'elegant'.

    Jim Hanley's is on the same block as that big pointy building. You know, the one that big monkey went up.

    Dear God Above... He's naked!

    Anyways, I find it odd that lately DST has been molding new hair pieces for the same characters. You would think it would be cheaper just to use the 24 2 pack hair on Jack and Nina, right?

    I'm always naked when I type replies on here... :blush::whistling: you just didn't know that til now...

    As for molding new hair, in this case it's not really a surpise if you consider they had to make a mold for the new parts anyway (Trolley, Jacks Jacket, bottom of Nina's blouse etc). Also as I said above I prefer Nina's prison garb hairdo, it just seems more 'Nina' to me. ( I will be QC'ing another Nina in a vest top and combat pants as per her later appearance as she is my fave 24 character :wub: )

    Thanks alot dude i needed that info. BTW how long did it take and did you send more than just wave6 iron man in?

    No problem about the info. I think the whole process took a couple of weeks & yes I did ask for a couple of others to be refurbished. The first was Prof. X's wheelchair which needed needed new tyres & Doc .Ock who had mislaid a couple of testicles. The new tyres are fine (good for another 12000) but they weren't helpful with the testicles. They actually said BTTF .com would be more helpful because they really talk bollocks. :lol:

    What happens if you send an old minimate withthe paint coming off to DST? im asking because i have an iron man with paint coming off.

    This is probably due to rust which is very common . I recently sent one to DST who promptly put it through their paint shop & returned it to me . It looks like new! If you don't get any joy from DST ,PM me & I'll send you mine.

    honestly, its ultimately the editors, who for the most part, just don't know what they are doing. and i'm telling you this from seeing it. sometimes i wonder how they got ot where they are, but what can you do

    I mentioned in another post that I spent most of my life running a print company. If I see a spelling mistake in anything I read I just have to react & do you know what ?I just can't help myself,it's like OCD. The current thread for Favorite Minimate reads Favortie Minimate .....& so what,who cares?...but I just can't help it. If ever my reaction to 'literals' pisses anybody off I'm sorry I'm not being mailicious it's just compulsion! buttheadsmate IS Doc Strange & he knows a good speller ;)
