By the way TM2 , I believe Nazi Germany were the last nation to declare war on the United States. The United States , I should point out, includes Texas.

We were talking about the Red Skull ,the Minimate & its eventual manufacture , that would be awesome & non-PC with FA to do with the Fourth Reich.

I agree. Red Skull is just a character, like Galactus. I personally do not advocate the consumption of humans (or other sentient species) as Galactus does. I do, however, applaud the willingness to make a figure (even if it is in MaxiMate form) of a character with such a controversial moral stance.

Seriously, though, ToyBiz was able to make a good Red Skull (Web Trap series?) without causing a stink. A Red Skull/WW2 Cap 2-pack would be much welcome.

This crossed my mind when I first came aboard here. I worked it out for myself. The swastika & Nazis are synonomous with a very dark period in world history & it is perhaps correct that a figure who personifies Nazism should not become a Minimate. My personal opinion is that this is the CORRECT decision for a company such as DST to corporately make . It would however not be the decision I would make & I would love to see a Red Skull 'mate. Ironically we can't have a Red Skull but it's fine & dandy for us all to salivate over the upcoming 'Silence of the Lambs' set which glorifies rapists & serial murderers!

.....& before anyone thinks that I sympathise with anything Nazi,you're wrong. The Red Skull is merely a character in a comic book series that I have been reading for over 40 odd years.

This is a fascinating & constructive thread & I find myself agreeing with just about everything anyone is saying. One character I never want however,is Nigel Small-Fawcett . Bhm ....never say never again.

This is getting very interesting. It is such an obvious(& I was very late on this bandwagon) line of future-mates.

I hope these will be of help. The Glider actually consists of three interlocking pieces,the clear base which has a peg which attaches to a 'jet pack thingy' which in turn attaches to the bottom of the Glider. There are 2 pegs on the top of the Glider ready for the Goblin's feet. The Goblin is actually excellent but the Spidey Kubrick shape is still awful ! The scale of the Glider is perfect for Minimate Goblin but the pegs are NOT C3.

I say 4 pack, one wave per film is too much.( if they REALLY need to do more then they could add a two pack like the other liceneses BttF 24 etc.)

4 pack will also cut down on the number of Bonds... One per pack is plenty(O'toole). your suggested wave has two and with 20+ movies that's a lot of Bonds.

I say boxed set. Works out cheaper (I think anyway). Plus stops unneccessary characters being added. You know the 4 you get are gonna be worth while.

This potential Minimate line has been talked about before & to be honest I wasn't that excited ,despite the fact that I saw it when it was first released in 1964 (I was 9 ) & it's still my favourite film!

Having seen the Goldfinger line-up , I'm convinced,awesome........ boxed set.

However .....a naked ,gold-painted Shirley Eaton Minimate Variant just begs to be made......& Pussy Galore

The Defenders set is generally regarded as one of the best Minimate sets ever,Namor & the Doc. being instant incarnations of what I,for one, hoped they would be. So what ?

So why are AFX using a free WASp to promote them? Is it perhaps that they are not as popular as we here think they are? Of course there are many factors involved but ,for me, this is another bad omen!

I can confirm that if you order multiples of any of the items you will receive multiples of WASp. I have received my order confirmation from AFX which categorically states this.
