    I genuinely don't wish any ill to this obviously revered retailer but why oh why does he/she continually offer (on ebay)'complete sets' of each Minimate wave which generally consist of a 'complete set' minus the variant pair?

    after showing them your post @ lunchtime i think they have changed their listing for you bhm and they like the fact you think they're "revered" :lol:

    They are no longer just revered ...they are now.. hallowed :lol:

    I figured that out, but it took a pretty long time, and a couple of really bad experiences in college involving hard liquor. . .let's just say that there are tapes in existence somewhere that ensure that I can never run for political office.

    In America, excess does seem to be a virtue. . .

    I spent some wonderful weeks in Ohio nearly 20 years ago with my (then) American girlfriend. I discovered the difference between American beer (?) & the alcoholic nectar I was previously used to drinking , I also discovered the difference between a hard liquor & a hard licker :P Damn those American spellings :lol:

    I have just invested $25,000 in a prototype 'Minimate-bag-resealer' & a label-printing machine. I get to open the bags & :blink: touch my promos (is this legal in Texas?) & then..... I reseal them. So you thought I was stupid huh!? I can offer this service for free to anybody who wishes to send me their loose Gold-Spidey . I guarantee it's safe return :rolleyes:

    I've just come back from ski-ing in the Austrian Alps with some mates. We met up with a great bunch of Irish lads & spent most evenings drinking with them. Now remember this was Austria,the Tyrol,Tyrollean evenings & beer kellars.....Wrong :( The main bar was O'Malley's & the second largest was known as.. wait for it ....The Shamrock. Every other night was ..you guessed it..... 'Irish Night' & the 'star attraction was the Elvis impersonator(imposter more like). Now I like Guinness & have grown fond of the Irish but the Irish lads tired of these places quicker than us! Irish bars are great... in Ireland & Ulster not Austria. Same goes for St.Patrick's Day ,it's for the Irish IMOP......mind you if anybody want's to invite me over for the day...Oill be dare wid me shillelagh :lol:

    By the way who is the patron saint of the USA???

    Just got my email from my new fav comic shop Limited Edition in Plymouth. Waves 19 and 20 have arrived in UK so let all the Brits rejoice :)

    What happens if you don't believe in global warming? Or are happy about it because it's already bringing about the new ice age?

    I am, of course, being satirical. But it's an honest question. Cancer isn't exactly a controversial subject. Or saving the wales for that mater. Why global warming?

    I wonder if there's a Kubrick fan site where everybody talks about how they hate those Doctor Who Minimates....

    Does anyone know what that accessory with Hurley is? Is that a scale?! Did they give him a scale because he's the fat guy? Jeez Louise....

    It is more than likely a CD player , although burly Hurley might have a sandwich-toaster ;)

    One explanation of 'The Dog's Bollocks' or the 'Mutt's Nuts' :

    ....based on the notion that dog's bollocks must taste good as they spend so much time licking them :P

    Another (which is booring yet more likely) comes from the Print & Packaging Industry where top quality cartons are known as 'Box Deluxe' , a spoonerism of this is Dox Beluxe! Just as a matter of interest (if any one is) we get the expression 'Bog Standard' from probably the same PPI source .....Box(Standard) :ohmy:

    I can only concur that these BSG Razors are the Box Deluxe!

    That license has nice potential. Too bad Kubricks are so Blah.... they can't touch minimates when it comes to articulation and detail.

    I know I won't be bothering with these

    Kubricks don't cut it in many ways especially articulation but the Star Wars Kubricks ,for example,are little short of superb when it comes to detail. These Lost Kubricks look great to me but I agree I'd love to see them as Minimates . Kubricks always succeed in one respect that Minimates always tend to fail....they exist ....they are here.... whilst we'll get the 'mates .....one day :(

    Just arrived back from a ski-trip.On the porch was a package from AFX which has been there a week! Unfortunately best part of Series 19 & 20 have been eaten by either foxes or badgers ,along with a ton of peanuts :angry: On the bright side did anybody else get the free gifts ? They are amazing!!! Little brown tapered tasty tid-bits which are delicious (though a tad chewy) which AFX must have left in the bottom of the carton. I've got a few which I'll trade for Arsangel or Apoocollapse...no shit! :P Gotta go now my damn dog keeps trying to lick my face :confused:
