  1. Hello Everyone, I made another Western Minimate, and a wanted poster for it. Enjoy. Mister Nick
  2. I just turned the loincloth around and painted the tan sash dark brown. It's the same one that came with the Calico Jack Indian. Mister Nick
  3. Hello Again, Here are a few wanted posters I made for the Western Mates. Enjoy. Mister Nick
  4. Hello Everyone, It has been a while since I posted anything. I have a few more Custom Westerm Minimates. Most are part swaps with some paintwork. Anywho, here they be... Let me know what you think. Mister Nick
  5. It is usually a blue and white, or a blue and yellow ribbon. You mix equal parts of each, knead them together, and you have about an hour or so where it is still soft and clay-like and easy to sculpt.
  6. I use a putty called Green Stuff. It is a two part epoxy putty that you can get at home depot. You mix the two together, and it hardens on its own in 24 hours. Much easier to use then sculpy in my opinion.
  7. Yeah, I tried to figure out the red suit too. I tried that Black Cat combination, and tried First Appearance Sabertooth fur, but the Morg hairpiece would have to be cut and resculpted a bit. In the end Kirby's Red Ghost from FF #13 was just plain easier to do.
  8. Here are a couple of quick Marvel customs that I've done recently. First Appearance Red Ghost... He uses Morg's hairpiece, Ultimate Wolverine's head, Mole Man's body, Captain Britain's gloves, and painted boots and chest details. Next an updated Professor Xavier for my First Appearance X-Men... The Professor is Through the Ages Tony Stark pants, GB Mayor torso, Target exclusive Professor's wheelchair, and the blanket painted black. Really quick and easy way to update him a bit. Sorry for the grainy pics. I couldn't find my camera, so I used my phone.
  9. Very Cool! Great comic choice, and the best version of Snake Eyes. I love how you used a minimate for Grunt in the Marvel logo, and the Spidey head.
  10. I am a huge fan of Preacher & Transmet. I just checked out your customs of Jesse & Spider. Truly amazing! Spider is probably my favorite custom I've seen yet!
  11. There's an app for MOTU Classics that has all of the figures, with pics, and an option to create two subfiles, owned & wishlist. Kinda cool. I like the idea of being able to take a pic of myself or someone else, then minimate-ifying them. Maybe be able to pic from a few minimates, then stick your face on it. I also like the idea of being able to touch/drag parts from existing mates to make quick customs.
  12. Ever since we got the official Giantman, I think we all wished for him in 3" form. He looks amazing! I am so jealous. The Avengers group looks so cool. Great job!
  13. Before the bulked up Thing was out, I thought that most of the Things that had been released just didn't look bulky enough (tiny waist & feet). There were now bulky chests, waistpieces, hands, feet etc. So, I made my own Thing... He is made from a variety of previous Thing mates. Original Thing's head/arms/fists/lower legs, Powerhouse Thing's chest, Giantman's bulked up waist repainted, Clobberin' Time Thing's upper legs, and Beast's feet from the 1st Appearance boxset. I used an exacto knife and some small files to match the texture of the duckfeet to Thing's fists, then painted them. Even with the newer bulked up Thing's released, I still prefer the look of my custom Thing. I think he fits in with his new size and bulk, but keeps more with the concept of the block figures that Minimates were.
  14. A long time hunting with more then a fistful of dollars, I finally tracked down all of the Dollars Trilogy Minimates. They are some of the coolest mates made in my opinion. I wanted some extra cowboys for extras in my displays. So with a few doubles from the Dollars sets, a Wolverine, and the BTTF 3 boxset I made some cowboys... Mad Dog Tannen was a simple swap of legs and add boots. (why he didn't have them to begin with is a mystery to me) The Plaid Cowboy is Wolverine from the Through the Ages boxset, with a head from one of the 24 sets, and Blondie's hat reformed with hot water, then painted brown. The Shotgun Cowboy is Marty McFly's hat reformed with hot water, hair painted black, head from Crimson Dynamo (great mustache), Trenchcoat from Doc Brown, shotgun from Kraven, the rest of the parts from Dollars mates. Poncho Cowboy is Man in Black hat, 24 boxset head, Marty McFly poncho repainted, and a few Dollars mates boots legs etc. Old Cowboy is Doc Brown's hat, General Ross head (another great mustache), Multiple Man arms and trenchcoat, Man in Black belt/holster, boots and pants from Dollars mates.
  15. I really like this line and hope it continues long enough to get the Mummy. Ive bought 2-3 sets of each, hoping to do my part to have the line continue. I personally think that releasing two sets each year will kill the line. The length of time between releases can cause a lot of people to lose interest.
  16. These all look great! I have three of these kits myself, and just need to stop being lazy. Just wondering, has anyone put together the Shuttle kit? Is it to scale? Has AMT re-released it recently? I've had some decals from old kits crack and flake making them unusable, so a recently released kit would be great. Anyone know the answers?
  17. I've admired your work for some time now. Very clean professional work. Amazing!
  18. Thanks! The Andorian is a Kree Soldier head, Chekov body, Dr Fate hairpiece, antenna made with epoxy putty, painted with Citadel acrylics. The Orion is made from Janice Rand parts, hairpiece from Phoenix, and Citadel paints & Inks. The yellow crewmember is an Uhura skirt painted, Chekov torso & arms with paint details removed and repainted with Citadel Chaos Black & Black Ink mixed, Betty Ross head, San Serrif hairpiece. The three Klingons are all Khan heads with Citadel Chaos Black & Ink mixture to paint on extra facial hair/eyebrows. One has the hairpiece from Tuco (guy in my profile pic), another hairpiece from Pike, not sure of the third hairpiece because it came with a few mates.
  19. Hello Everyone, I just joined the Multiverse after lurking for a while now. I thought I'd share a few Star Trek customs that I've made. Thanks for checking them out, Mister Nick
