  1. There is also the comic series as a possible basis for licensing. My most wanted box set would be: Jon Ghost Sam (with raven) Other/White Walker
  2. My dream set! I love Cap-Wolf, Tigra and Puma, and I just want Groundhog7s to be happy. I'm truly touched you care so much. And of course I noticed you didn't say that that set wasn't happening.im trying to figure out why Rocket Raccoon wouldnt be in this set The only reasons Rocket didn't make the cut are because there are no Now! uniforms and because he needs to be saved for the GotG movie wave, follow up comic Now! wave with classic variant. After all, everyone knows, he's the popular character that will be the selling force of those series.
  3. One Uncanny Avenger you say? Lets see, if we leave out the Now characters from wave 51 and TRU 16, it leaves Havoc, Rogue, Sunfire, Thor, Wasp, and Wonder Man. Then with the no teams and no Now! rule makes it likely to be tied together as an event, through the ages, or many faces of set. Oh and lest we forget there is the unnamed "unique" set rumor floating around. What if AVX Phoenix Wolverine, Phoenix Magneto, Phoenix Hope, and Phoenix Spider-Man I know! It is a Skin and Bones set. Adamantium Skeleton (Not Wolverine just a skeleton mate with claws so it doesn't count a against the one UA character), Savage Land Rogue, Goblin Queen, Phoenix 5 Namor (Why yes I want to complete the P5 group) Maybe a furry set Cap-Wolf, Tigra, Squirrel Girl, and Puma I think it must be getting late because now I'm envisioning a Cosplay two pack of Superior Spider-Chuck and Wolver-Zach.
  4. Codename: Raven File Name: Tengu Classification: Raven Shapeshifter Primary Specialty: Spy Raven is the team spy. While he doesn't have a problem with doing a bit of assassination he really isn't built for combat. Fortunately when he is deployed he can fly into just about anywhere and back out again without being detected. Hell even if he is detected he makes damn sure that there's no one left to report the detection. Also of note Raven is the only alien that regularly leaves the A51 compounds without permission, usually because by the time his absence is detected he has already returned. This has made him especially popular with all of the other alien groups since he can get them just about any contraband that they want. 5. Codename: Ripper File Name: Sobek Classification: Crocodile Shapeshifter Primary Specialty: Demolitions If you want bloodthirsty carnage and massive destruction then forget about Striker and look to Ripper. There are only two things he loves more than the sound of explosions. The first is the smell of fear and the second is the taste of blood. He had been working as a mercenary up until Leader recruited him for A51. In the past he has fought both for and against the United States and so long as he could continue doing what he loves he doesn't really care whom he's working for. The only thing that convinced him to work for A51 is the fact that if Earth can't be saved he'll have to rejoin his family in searching for a new home and he really can't stand the thought of being cooped up in a star cruiser around his relatives where he can't blow anything up. 6. Thanks, Captain Paco. AS for the story matching the characters that has a lot to do with the fact that I start out with a very rough idea of where the story should go before I create the characters. Once the customs are completed then I write up the bios so that everything matches up. For example I knew I wanted to do something with the Lego Chima heads and they fit in with the A51 universe customs. So I created the customs and then started the story for them and then I went back and deleted all of it after I decided to turn them into shape-shifters. Once I'd finished finding the human versions I wrote the bios all over again and I'm still not satisfied due to the fact that I forgot to paint the scar on Leader's minimate head. Another example would be the Displaced character Medjai. While he had always been an Egyptian slave the original custom was called Cobalt and had an Iron Man type set of armor. The custom didn't work with the story so it has been exiled to a WIP box until I find the right story for him and I created a completely new custom that did work. That's the reason I rarely do customs from official properties/characters, so long as I stick to my own multiverse I never have to worry about the end result having a definitive look. Codename: Striker File Name: Peter Classification: Wolf Shapeshifter Primary Specialty: Intelligence Officer Striker is the gray muzzle of the team, quite literally. He doesn't say much outside of strategy meetings and rarely interacts with others during his down time. The most we've ever been able to get out of the other members of the team is that he has been on Earth the longest and his primary mission, until joining A51, has been to "put down" rogue alien elements or what humanity has come to know as the stereotypical bloodthirsty werewolf. It should be noted that a few of the werewolf reports have been sightings of Striker's species most are indeed created through paranormal avenues. To date, according to Leader there have only been two shape shifters to go bad and in both cases they were never reported as werewolves. 7. Codename: Buster File Name: Androcles Classification: Lion Shapeshifter Primary Specialty: Soldier Buster is Leader's younger brother. He isn't the brightest cat in the pride but he follows orders and gets the job done without much complaint so he serves his purpose. I suppose the real annoying thing about him is that even though he has below average intelligence for his species he often shows greater intelligence than most of the humans on the base. 8. Codename: Leader File Name: Daniel Classification: Lion Shapeshifter Primary Specialty: Battlefield Commander For years the shape shifting aliens from Alpha's team have been visiting Earth and trying to integrate with human culture. The planets within their own star system are slowly loosing the ability to sustain life and Earth is the only place, so far, that they've found to be hospitable. As a side note it seems in recent times that they are even responsible for the surge in certain subcultures. Special investigations should make further inquiries into the rise of "Furrys" to ascertain how many of them may be invading aliens. Their cover has been so good that A51 had misplaced their case with the Soldiers of Horror supernatural unit until Daniel approached us. He was concerned about the fact that Earth is also becoming as unlivable as their own planets and he hoped by working with A51 perhaps there would be a way to reverse the damage before humanity also has to go in search of a new home world. Unfortunately the only way that he was willing to work with us was if we were to recruit his blood brother, the human James Beam, as their liaison to A51. 9. Huh, I see nothing cat like there. The hooves, tail, and head are all bovine in shape. Admittedly he isn't a cow and I wouldn't exactly call him a bull either, not getting into the whole concept of how Battle Beast culture might work, from his build I'd say he looks more like a steer. I couldn't even pick out the horns and hooves at first glance, but I suppose the artist did suggest them a little. The snout is all wrong though and throws off the look for me. Seems to me it should look a lot more like the Four Horsemen's Xetheus, or the Mynothecean Royal Guardsman in particular, but I might just be overly picky with my anthropomorphic cattle. I can understand where you're coming from since I'm the same way with anthro-cats or any big cats for that matter. If the cheetah ever gets repainted as any other feline species minimate heads will roll. Wow, I really didn't mean to steer this so far off course. Let me just say that of all the beasts in the first issue the Cheetah and the Cow/Bull/Steer are in my top five most wanted.

  11. Codename: Agent Alpha File Name: Beam, James Primary Specialty: Police Officer Secondary Specialty: Paranormal Investigator Alpha, while not a part of the original A51 team is, in a way, the original agent. As a small town sheriff he was abducted. He showed up again two years later with almost no memory of where he had been. Unable to accept that he'd just disappeared he quit the force and started investigating every UFO encounter and crack-pot report he came across. About the only thing he didn't bother to investigate was A51, since it was too public to have any real aliens. In fact he still didn't believe us when Agent 51 escorted him to the base for a meeting. Not that we wanted him either but the latest group of aliens refused to work with anyone else and after meeting them we discovered that they were the ones responsible for Alpha's abduction. 12. Codename: Wolf File Name: Lone Wolf Classification: Unknown Canid Species Weapons: Tribal Walking Stick and Translation Computer No one deserves the title Outcast like Wolf. He follows the ways of diplomacy and pacifism even though it is quite obvious that he is from a carnivorous species. He is always the first to caution against rash actions and to attempt to negotiate the Outcasts out of trouble. In fact he is so good at communication that all of the other Outcasts have admitted at one point or another that Wolf is the only reason that the group has been able to stay together without any serious friendly fire injuries. However, Wolf can still be just as dangerous as any other Outcast. He is a highly trained martial arts master and when diplomacy fails he can back up his words with swift action; he just doesn't need to seriously injure anyone to get his point across. 13. Name: Jason Steele Profession: Police Officer Origin Time: October 21, 2007 Location Collected: Aurora, Colorado So far Steele is the most modern of all the displaced to awaken. Because of this he has certain advantages when dealing with the facilities computers. It has also provided him with knowledge about all of the Displaced and the reason that they have been collected. Knowledge that he struggles with on a daily basis as to whether he should share. Secrets, such as the fact that they can never return to their own times even if they wanted to and the fact that they have all died and somehow their minds have been copied and placed in new bodies. Perhaps the darkest revelation of all is the fact that one of them isn't everything he seems to be and he doesn't even know it. Collected Jason Hunter 01 by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  14. Name: Flare (Takazawa Shiro) Profession: Japanese Soldier Origin Time: April 12, 1947 Location Collected: Unnamed South Pacific Island Flare was trained and sent with the rest of his unit to a remote listening station in the South Pacific toward the end of World War II. When the war ended the unit never got the message. Flare remained at his post even after the rest of his unit succumbed to tropical fevers, snake bites, and madness. Even Flare succumbed to a bit of madness as he trained himself in the ways of the Shinobi. After waking in the facility he was shocked to discover that Japan had lost the war however he quickly got over his shock when he met up with Mossberg. Since their meeting Flare has spent nearly all of his time trying to convince Mossberg to take him on as an apprentice. The rest of his time is spent in the museum studying ancient scrolls in order to realize his dreams. Collected Flare 03 by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  15. Name: Ross West Profession: Drifter Origin Time: February 24, 1836 Location Collected: Alamo, Texas Ross' story is much less exciting than it may seem from his location of collection. In truth, considering what he has learned from the facility's museum records he was lucky to have been collected. For most of his life he'd moved from place to place doing odd jobs where he could. He'd done just about everything from carpentry to cattle driving. The one thing he couldn't stand was the thought of settling down in one place when there was so much country left to experience. Even now that he's a part of the Displaced he spends most of his time out scouting the surrounding area. Collected Ross West by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  16. Name: Jacob Profession: Sugar Plantation Slave Origin Time: September 19, 1831 Location Collected: Jamaica Jacob was born and later captured in Africa and then transported to Jamaica where he was sold to a sugar plantation. The last thing he can remember, before waking up in the facility, is the lashing by the plantation overseer for his misbehavior. Collected Jacob by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  17. Name: Mossberg (real name unknown) Profession: Ninja Origin Time: Sengoku period Location Collected: Japan Mossberg discovered the "cultural museum" section of the facility where he immediately equipped himself with new weapons and stealth suit. He is especially fond of the shotgun. At first the Displaced called him the Shotgun Ninja but finally settled on Mossberg since the he refused to name himself. After this portion of the facility became available most of the Displaced have added bits of technology to their personal items. Collected Mossberg 03 by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  18. Name: Marcus Profession: Roman Slave Origin Time: 79 A.D. Location Collected: Herculaneum Marcus hails from the ancient Roman city of Herculaneum where he had served as a pleasure slave in an elite families summer estate. Unlike some slaves Marcus actually preferred his living conditions considering how other slaves were treated. However, when the ash started to fall Marcus decided to flee. Whether he would have made it or not is complete conjecture as he discovered that he had been collected. Collected Marcus Arcturis by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  19. Name: Medjai (refuses to give any other name) Profession: Egyptian Soldier of the Nubian Elite Origin Time: Late Reign of Ramesses the Great Location Collected: Egypt Medjai served as an elite guard in the house of the aging Pharaoh. He was honored to serve and to be selected to continue serving his God King in the afterlife. However he woke up and found himself in the facility where he at first believed he had entered the afterlife and immediately started searching for his king. As soon as he realized that he was still alive he entered a state of deep depression. Eventually the group was able to convince him that perhaps the reason that he was still alive wasn't because he had been unworthy, but because the Gods had chosen him to be their representative to the Displaced. 20. Thanks, I'd say I was sorry about making you get another Thundercats set but I'd be lying. The more T-Cats sets that sell the better the chances Icon Heroes will continue to put out more of them and I really want both Pumm-Ra and Snowmeow figures. Though now I'm wondering if I should continue posting members of the Displaced considering I put more time and effort into the next two, Ancient Nubian Warrior and Roman Pleasure Slave, and some of the parts were much harder to find.
  21. Best of Wave 01 Green Goblin body with Wave 33 Sentinel arms. Name: Ahrm Profession: Neanderthal Hunter Origin Time: Late Upper Paleolithic Collection Location: Iberian Peninsula While everyone in the group has had difficulty in adapting to their new conditions Ahrm has perhaps had both the easiest and the hardest time of it. His skills as a hunter are allowing him to thrive outside the facility but within the confines of the group he is having the hardest time communicating. Fortunately the rest of the group is learning how to hunt and gather food, despite their lack of intelligence. The last thing He can remember before finding himself in the strange cave was preparing to attack a woolly Rhinoceros with his brothers. Collected Ahrm by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  22. Name: Aaron Dial Profession: American Professor of Sociology Origin Time: March 16, 1938 Collection Location: Austria Prof. Dial remembered stepping off the train at the boarder crossing on his way out of Austria and presenting his travel papers and nothing more until waking up at the Facility. It must have been at that point that he had been collected. How the actual act had taken place is still a mystery as group members, from later times, informed him that there was no record of any collections taking place. Collected Dr Aaron Dial by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  23. The Displaced are a group of humans, lead by Professor Dial, collected from multiple times and locations in Earth's history. The Professor was the first to be released from suspended animation in a strange new world where, as far as his limited attempts at exploration have uncovered, is uninhabited by other sapient life forms. After several days Professor Dial gained access to the rest of the lab complex where he discovered other sleeping subjects. Name: Unknown Profession: Time Traveling Human Collector Origin Time and Location: Unknown Several weeks after awakening the group received a visit by this individual. It took no notice of their sleeping pods being emptied. It only remained long enough to deposit another human in a sleeping pod before teleporting away. While the group doesn't know exactly what it is their theory is that it is either a robot or a cyborg that may be the last relic of the extinct human species programmed to travel through time collecting individuals in order to restore the species. However no one, as yet, knows why it is only collecting male specimens. Collected Master Chronos by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  24. Thanks TENIME. File Name: Euryale Original Story: Greek Mythology Euryale, one of Medusa's two older sisters, was asked to join the Femme Fatales by Medusa after she had been reborn in human form once more. Unlike Medusa, Euryale is immortal so she can never die and be reborn and is cursed to remain a gorgon forever. Fortunately, for those she considers friends, she was not the primary target of the transformation so she is able to control her ability to turn others into stone. FF Gorgon by Prowl-Ar, on Flickr
  25. My speculation Team Set 90's X-Factor or Guardian of the Galaxy Unique Set "That The?!" Howard the Duck The Incredible Spider-Ham Throg 1st Appearance Rocket Raccoon Or maybe something really unique like: The Many Faces of Multiple Man. Four different versions of Multiple Man in one box to army build.
