Ya know, wolverine as an avenger rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but up until new avengers came out, I never messed with anything avengers. I kind of hated them, thought they were second rate heroes. Then they put spiderman and wolverine on the team and of course I started reading. The whole civil war and house of m happened, and it turns out the avengers are freaking awesome. And I found a great fondness for Cap and ironman who I couldn't care less about before. So really is wolverines over exposure such a bad thing? So you guys think we will or won't be getting mates for this film? It's kinda lookin grim.

Hmmm, the whole orange thing is kind of a turn off. But one thing that bothers me on the corp set is the red plastic instead of red paint. So I dunno.

Is deadpool from this wave worth getting if I already have the deadpool corps set? I'm definitely getting that hulk, for me he is the perfect color, has the best looking muscle definition, face tampo,and the perfect hair piece to be my go to hulk. He has a very classic feel to him. Sorry to hear about some QA issues.

Let me start off by saying I'm a long time lurker, but have just recently became active on the boards so I've decided to share a little bit about myself. I'm a huge comic nerd, and toy collector, although my Minimate collection is the largest I own, mostly because my marvel legends and universe take up too much space. I got into mates around the time the secret invasion box set came out, and I've been going hard with most x-men oriented stuff since. Being a long time lurker I've been reading a lot of your posts for years and feel like I already know some of you very well. This board in my opinion has to be one of the most friendly, and funny toy boards out there. Everyone has a great sense of humor, and is respectful of each other and it's pretty awesome. Also it's says a lot for DST to have Zack on here interacting with the customers, I feel like the company genuinely wants to please its fans, which rocks. More about me, I'm 28 I'm stationed in Hi, I'm married with two children. My five year old son is a big fan of minimates as well, we toy hunt together. Aaaaand minimates rock, you guys rock, thanks for having me, and I Look forward to arguing with you guys about comics and minimates!

Emma frost = good guy. We did get that villians box set a few years back, maybe we're due for another one, I'd like to see a bulked up apocalypse and then a bunch of obscure villians for you guys.

I'm over all excited by the LCS and TRU Marvel Now waves, normally I pic and choose, but I will be getting every single one of these. Sauron absolutely should have a loin cloth, but whatcha gonna do. I just hope that wolverine will be released with that sweet new mask and we won't get a bait and switch like they did with the curse of the mutants box set.

I think that silver samurai suit looks pretty rad, I feel bad for those 3.75 inch collectors because that articulation is strait out of the late 70s. I think it would translate well into minimate form, and I'm really hoping this movie gets some minimate action. I have high expectations for this film, they want to distance themselves from the origins film and that's not a bad idea.

Ya know I always thought they were gonna go in that direction with x-force too, but I guess Remender just focused on how each murder they did had specific consequences, *SPOILER ALERT*and wolverines big moment of realization was when he had to kill his own son at the end of the books run. So these days he's trying to distance himself from x-force but psylocke is still going hard.

Ok I agree with you there, wolverine is in too many places at once to be believable, but hey it's comics we believe radiation gives you super powers and doesn't kill you. What I will say about my favorite character is he has been written out of character as of late. Some may call it character development in the writers defense, but I would say its just completely hypocritical for ol wolvie to go around murdering and then tell cyclops he's being too militant. Like in schism cyclops and wolverine were throwing high fives one issue then the were trying to kill each other the next. It was just a way for the marvel architects to set cyclops up as a militant terrorist villain for AvX and bring wolverine into the spotlight as the new professor X, which is still hard to believe. But it has made for some great reading, I highly recommend wolverine and the x-men. And he doesn't steal the spotlight in that book.

Thanx miry, and I know I'm probably in the minority of this group, while I would love to get a toad, or a squirrel girl mate, I'm always excited to get more wolverines, caps, etc.. Some people might say why does wolverine need two monthly solo titles when he's already featured in 4 different team books? Well, because people like me will buy every single one of them and marvel knows it.

I don't really want to see any of those people in the film - i meant more that if DST were to release a 'similarly themed' 616 wave like they did when XMOWolverine & the Cap & Thor movies came out. Could not agree more. My favourite x-books over the past 10 years have almost always been which-ever ones didn't put wolverine front & centre. Over-exposed is, truly, an understatement. I couldn't disagree more, the best x-stories to date have had wolverine front and center, the dark angel saga is great example. There's a reason why characters like wolverine and spiderman get so much exposure, they're bad a$$, they're like-able, they're thoroughly entertaining. Wolverine is the best there is at what he does, and what he does best is over exposure. But that's just me, I keep buying uncanny avengers, even though the art is crappy and it never ships on time and the story has been slow, just because wolverine is in the book.

Looks great! One of my favorite teams too, that book had a really good run, sux AvX came and ruined it. on a brighter note the new uncanny #1 came out today, interesting times for the x-men to say the least!

Psh, forget the kids I'm buying multiples of that wolverine, best representation yet! Also can't wait for that wolverine through the ages box set, I hope that is still in the works.

Long time lurker, first time posting! You asked if there were any other Islanders on here, I don't know if I can be considered an Islander yet, but I just moved (got stationed) here a few months ago. You know of any good spots to hunt for mates without ordering everything online? And I'm with you on the blue and gold teams, I've got just about every 90`s x-men fig they've put out.
