  2. Yeah well why don't you go and read your sig a couple times....
  3. Okay I'm serious. What the hell's going on, are they shipping next week or the week after? Or did the Wizard ad mess up their schedule?! Forcing them to ship 13 first so the wave 12 minis in their Wizard World Texas advertisement...... -CloneMe
  4. So we know AA/DST can't count, 1 month means 3 and 2 weeks means 4, ship dates of Oct 25 mean Oct. 18 etc etc.... Wave 13 came out yesterday, where is wave 12? Am I missing something? Or are they "uncounting" to fix the Sentry tampo. OR maybe this was discussed elsewhere(or in elseworlds) and I didn't read it. -CloneMe
  5. No news on diamond site whether or not it's this week or next week. Usually by now, on monday, they've updated it. Hmmmm.
  6. Actually, That's How Nightcrawler lost his leg...... The problem isn't shrinkage or expansion, it's the painted joints.
  7. Congrats, Luke! And here's to that speedy recovery!
  8. I have figured it out!!, take a part your minimate as much as you can to isolate the joint you are having problems with. THEN....squirt the smallest amount of WD40 right in the joint and let it do it's seeping thing. Then grap the piece as close to the joint as possible, slooowly start to turn the piece after about 20-30 seconds and it should wiggle free. Then what you want to do is take some dish soap to cut the WD40 and rinse rinse rinse with warm water and that little bit of dishsoap. Good to go. There's one storm I didn't break. Third times a charm**grumble grumble** JP-speaking of minimates not showing up, only one of the Target's here have 'em. Have you gotten the TRU sets yet?
  9. I think maybe running them under cold or warm water might help..... or WD40 I dunno! Why AA, WHY!?!?!?!
  10. can we get a dead cyclops figure?
  11. Whoa!? You're going to get 20 martian manhunters?!?!?! At least JP kept the thread on track. Like I said My marvel minis keep breaking from target.
  12. Okay so that's one nightcrawler leg and a storm arm and another storm arm..... So Death Toll: Storm x 2 Nightcrawler x 1

  19. Read on Newsarama this morning. http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=85852 By MattBrady at Newsarama.com ROBERT DOWNEY JR. CAST AS TONY STARK And we’ve got a Tony Stark. The news broke last night, and hit the trades this morning – Robert Downey Jr. will play Tony Stark/Iron Man in the upcoming film version of the Marvel comic series. At his MySpace Iron Man Movie Group, director Jon Favreau wrote as the news was breaking: “It is true. Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark. I am about as excited as I can be. I saw what he can do and he is extremely enthusiastic about playing Stark. I can say with absolute certainty that there is no better choice. The humor and emotional dimension he brings truly raises the bar on this project. Get ready.” As reported previously, the film will be the first feature to be produced independently by Marvel Entertainment and distributed by Paramount. As The Hollywood Reporter describes the plot: Downey will portray Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Using his intelligence and ingenuity, Stark instead builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to the U.S., he uncovers a plot with global implications and must don his armor and protect the world. The screenplay is written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby. Filming is slated to begin in February, and the movie is scheduled for a May 2, 2008 opening. Marvel's press release for the casting reads: Academy Award® Nominee Robert Downey Jr. will take on the role of one of Marvel's greatest Super Heroes, signing on as the title character for Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated IRON MAN. This project, the first feature film to be produced independently by Marvel Entertainment, will launch into theaters May 2, 2008. The film is being directed by Jon Favreau and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Downey is widely recognized as one of Hollywood's most versatile actors. Nominated for an Oscar® for his extraordinary portrayal of Charlie Chaplin in Chaplin, Downey has been featured in more than 50 films. His upcoming credits include Fur (co-starring Nicole Kidman), A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and the David Fincher film Zodiac. He has also recently been seen in such films as: A Scanner Darkly, The Shaggy Dog, Good Night, and Good Luck, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Gothika, The Singing Detective and Wonder Boys. Based upon Marvel's iconic Super Hero, IRON MAN tells the story of Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to America, Tony must come to terms with his past. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. "Robert Downey Jr. is one of the most talented and acclaimed actors of this generation. His versatility sets him apart and makes him an ideal fit to play such a complex character as Iron Man. We could not think of another actor better suited to bring one of Marvel's crown jewels to the big screen and be the centerpiece of our first independently produced feature," said Kevin Feige, President of Production, Marvel Studios. Marvel Studios is currently casting all supporting roles. Filming is slated to begin in Los Angeles in February 2007. IRON MAN will be produced by Mr. Feige and Avi Arad. Executive Producers are Michael Helfant, Ari Arad, Mr. Favreau, Louis D'Esposito and Peter Billingsley. Mr. Downey is represented by CAA. ********************* I can see it. I'm not disappointed. See! -Cloneme
