  1. Okay. This just got me SO stoked for the movie. The suit is SO damn flexible he can lie on the floor get on all fours, do crunches and sit ups in it. Pretty friggin sweet!! http://iesb.net/index.php?option=com_ezine...mp;article=2434
  2. Went yesterday like I said, and nothing new at my TRU. Though because of distribution we literally get these last in Southern California. Keep you posted.
  3. Maybe I'll go investigate this at TRU right now.....
  4. I hardly consider them repaints as well. They are totally new designs new pieces and the whole clear parts to show the bones is so innovative of minimates. Can't wait!! Hope we get a SDCC exclusive set or something....
  5. Awesome news!! I WILL be there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  6. Well I guess I'll post!... I'll be at the San Diego Comic-Con for all four days plus Preview Night. Those of you who have no idea what we're talking about www.comic-con.org Check it out, the one and only largest pop culture event in North America!!!!
  7. No, he plays "Sam Witwicky". But I do like the idea of a Minimate of the annoying Mr. LaBeouf. He'd look cool next to Masterpiece Prime, let alone the movie version (once it comes out)! Actually I think he IS Sam 'Spike' Witwicky. That's no surprise as his original name was Spike Witwicky and in the movie he's Sam with Spike as his nickname... he may even have been sam in the DW comics they did when Pat Lee was drawing them... I'll have to look it up. BUT anyway, I will buy these i, robot minimates for the same reason(s) to keep the other lines alive, and to get AA some more o' my money! Bastards.....
  8. I think a classic multiple man with the full body suit and the trenchcoat would be awesome. I would buy a box set of 4 or 5 with different facial expressions. Then maybe we can get a Havok and Polaris out of the deal later.
  9. WooHoo!! Done and Done!!! Can't wait. Just got back from Target and sent it out!
  10. I can't wait to get the Wave 3 Aquaman, that way I can give him one of Omac's hands so he has that cool magical water hand....
  11. You guys are telling ME! I think Scarlet spider is on my top 5 list of marvel minimates to make. Which goes a little something like this... CloneMe's Top 5 Most Wanted marvel Minimates: 1. Scaret Spider 2. Scarlet Spider 3. Scarlet Spider 4. Scarlet Spider and to round it out, 5. Scarlet Spider 5 bucks says he's in the next 2 marvel Minimate waves announced
  12. Plus he just looks so happy! I also agree with Neo Lego. The simplicity of minimates is what made them so awesome for us who have been there since wave 3 or earlier. I thought the simplicity of Spidey and Daredevil and even Bullseye is what made them so special. The were complete, good paint apps and it was what it was. Thanks for taking me back neo, Ah..that first time I laid eyes on a minimate.....
  13. Best: Toyfair Starbuck - The thing is flawless the joints are all perfect the paint app is more detailed than the two pack versions cause the tampos go all around the leg... and theres just more detail on the pants. I've seen my fair share of these and everyone holds up to those comments. Worst: Shanester.... No I can't think of one so Ill have to think about it and get back to the list. Actually im trying NOT to do that, as I dont watch BSG, Ive only seen the first season. Mine are unbiased choices.
  14. Does any one have the exact measurements of a lego nub??.... I have an Idea........
  15. I looked back and I still don't see it.... maybe I do. I think I do, but it doesn't really spoil much.....
  16. I did read previews this last month and it does say 2 1/2", but you're right I think it is a typo in the add itself and in the solicit.
  17. I thought part of redoing the Trek mates in 2" form was to make the line more uniform and have the base for all minimates be 2". Trek being one of the more popular 3" lines. Makes sense to me to keep everything at a uniform height so the 2 1/2" and 3" figure difference in height would carry more weight.
  18. I wish my target still had some of the older two packs, like the ice-man! I also noticed that random other things at the Targets in my area are be clearanced out too. Like the new Hasbro Mego-Looking Spider-Man dolls AND select transformers figures like the Target Exclusive Ultra Magnus two-pack!
  19. But I thought we were more than that! Okay but to be more serious this is a consistently good board for news and info and just good ol' fashion conversations. Hell, my collection wouldn't be so complete if it weren't for the members here and again the news and updates on what's coming out when and where. Besides, I'd rather hang out here than work any day! ;-) Kudos to the Multiverse!
  20. WWLA was... anti climactic. I got to play with DST Matt for a bit and chat with jattaPake and TBT. All good and fun. Not too much to report however. LOVE the spidey 3 two pack. BSG mates look awesome.... Maybe San Diego wil get the Roslyn/Zarek two pack.... now, who can I talk to to make that happen. And what the hell is up with this stupid IFL thing? Weird to see all this martial arts fighting league stuff at a comic book show... it scares me. -CloneMe

The Graphic Novel by Frank Miller actually was released as 5 single comic issues published by Dark Horse in 1998(I think, maybe earlier). It was later collected as a graphic novel I believe. Everything I've heard so far is it is just absolutely breathtaking, and amazing. Can't wait to see it. I passed up on the screening at WonderCon last weekend. Arg.
  22. Eek. The Zombie wave I can't wait for. What series is that going to be?
  23. In the 2003 mini series wasn't there a deactivated Cylon Centurion in a museum or something similar? Haven't seen too many episodes but I've read online that they occasionally refer to them in the current TV show. I think in the mini series Tigh, or six refers to the chrome toasters.
