At the San Diego Con, myself, Nervous and TBT had a chance to lookover or study the maximates. We hadn't figured out if they were protos or the actual piece, but on the sentinel it looks like the pieces are glued together, like as if the joints are glued into position. However, the Galactus looks like the arms and legs are all one solid piece. I haven't bought them yet so other than that I don't know :(

I got mine first day cancelled with the Comic-Con "eye logo" on them at the San Diego Conventon center. They are sweet.

Dudes...I live in San Diego, I will be there friday, I've been a graphic designer/artist ofr like 7 years, I've always wanted to be a package designer(more so than a minimate designer) I have some rockin minimates customs I've designed in Illustrator and painted myself, and I know all adobe programs like the back of my nuts... see you all on the bottom of an AA toy box LOL...... But seriously, I think if any of us and I mean ANY of us are there that day, no reason why we shouldn't cruise and check it out.

I used to HATE myspace, then when I realized all of my friends out of the state(or country) had myspace pages, I got on it. Keeps the phone bill down, and It's a good way to keep in touch with people you don't see everyday, kinda like this board! Suckas!

Shanester totally highjacked my thread!?!! Okay but seriously. I have an apocalypse, the Giant Man sans hand, the Galactus, The Sentinel and half of Onslaught. These damn BaF sets have sucked me into Marvel Legend Madness. I kinda like the look of the black apocalypse. I'll get the Mojo set and MODOK....wow.....MODOK.

So I just read online that there is a black variant Build-A-Figure Apocalypse. Secondly, I bought all the figures from the same case, and for some reason, the torso of my apocalypse is black and all his extremities are blue... Anyone else encounter these pieces, or is this a repeat post?! CloneMe
