Ok I better put mine up before I forget (and also now I don't have to go first) anyway I decided to try ans recreate the Days of future past X-Men 141 cover Original for reference And if anybody is interested here is the image on its own. I created the back ground elements and captured the image as one photograph, for some insane reason I thought it would give a more layered realistic look if I did all the slains and apprehendeds separately and glue them on the created poster. Unfortunately when everything was scaled down to minimate size these became super tiny and difficult to work with and probably created the same effect as if I just made them on the original poster. Oh well live and learn.

Upon reflection I may have came across a tad harsh. I understand your point but this is just the perfect giant size x-men line up and it would have been crazy to leave any of these guys out. I did lament elsewhere that I wished there was a companion TRU wave that would have included Jean and updated classic Xavier and maybe first appearance Sprite and Rogue but maybe their day will come.

I can totally understand the benefit to the seller (apparently the scheme was instigated to encourage more US sellers to sell to foreign buyers) and I would be fine if we all knew where we stood before handing over cash. The person I am most upset with over the whole thing is myself for not showing due diligence and being caught out. Having said that I went back and looked at the sales where I have been charged fees and this is how they looked. Oh well I guess I know what to look for now.

But its still a disgrace.

Hi Guys, This may be old news to some but I have just discovered first hand the pit falls of the Global Shipping Program used by ebay and paypal. For buyers outside of the states what can happen is that you can buy a lot on ebay and pay the price and postage in one transaction and be charged an addition postage cost by third party Pitney Bowes. This Pitney Bowes charge is never referenced in the sale or cheeckout process it just turns up in your paypal summary without you ever agreeing to it. Another downfall with the GSP is that sellers using it can't combine shipping on multiple sales ( so you could buy 6 minimates in the same transaction and they will arrive in 6 boxes with 6 postage charges and 6 additional Pitney Bowes charges). A lot of sellers display the GSP logo on their sales pages but this doesn't seem to always be the case, so short of asking every seller if they use the scheme there doesn't seem to be anyway to be 100% sure what you will be paying.

Probably just me but for some reason I can load the database (as well as a few other unrelated sites) but i can get in here and other places no problem. So Is it the database or my computer?

Well these things vary from drawing to drawing but it's a rather shapeless shift dress which would ride up her hips all the time but if we are going to ignore the physical realities it would probably just look nicer tailored to some extent. Also opaque tights under a skirt tend not to look good in illustrations, possibly just me but I feel layered clothes complicate the visual impact of a superhero design. I'm not a fan of the three quarter sleeves because they give the character odd proportions (even though she seems to be drawn with long arms a lot so maybe these were a conscious decision to emphasize the imagery of her powers. Finally Super costumes are traditionally primary colours but when you have all 3 together in roughly equal proportions they tend to cause a visual conflict that can be disconcerting. Of course these are all my personal opinions and should be taken with however much salt you feel necessary.

I haven't read anything with the character in it, and i have wanted minimates of characters after reading something with them in it and just based on this board I understand she is very popular, but on a pure design basis it is one god awful ugly costume.

The only slight disappointment for me about wave 69 is Enchantresses hair piece, Instead of being flowing and sexy its more slicked back coming home from the pools for some reason.

I haven't read a new marvel comic in ages and looking at those covers it looks like a confusing mess not a jumping on point. 2 things stuck out though, whats the rational of having multiples of the same character? there were from what i could see 2 thors 3 hulks about 17 different captain Americas about as many deadpools and 162 spider man, girl, boys, whatevers. Also i get that diversity is a good thing and all but why does marvel feel the need to get every black character they have out of the back catalogue and have them all on the same couple of teams? Having said that looking at the covers I would like a Misty Knight, Satana 2 pack please, also the idea of mike allred silver surfer appeals to me on some level
