The only one I'm even interested in is Ultimate Iron Man. I love that suit and I can't wait to see the figure. I have the Marvel Select version, but it's just not the same as the Legends. Maybe this will light a fire under DST/AA to give us a Ultimate Iron Man Mate. neo

He was talking about the Variants from McDonalds. As far as the Mattel Cars go, I'm not aware of any "Variants". There have been cars labeled "Rare" like Dinaco Lighting and Purple Ramone, but not variants.....again, that I'm aware of. neo

That's really cool. I didn't know that. I'm really good with getting at least 1 of each character. While I like variants, I'm not a collection whore that has to have every since thing made.........although, if I have the opportunity I would buy them all . Guess I'm gonna have to hit ebay. neo

Crap, I didn't know there were variants of the cars. I knew about the 3 different Ramone's and I have them. So, I guess I need both clean and dirty Lightining, but either one would be great too just so I have one. neo

Sweet Mother Load. I just walked out of Walmart with 7 new Matchbox cars. I got the following: -Dinaco Lightning -The King -Ramone (All Purple) -Wingo -Filmore -Leakless (Random Stock Car) -Nitroade (Random Stock Car) It was sweet. I LOVE the blue Dinaco Lightning. I only hope I can find a Piston Cup Winner Lighting before it's all over with. I found them behind a bunch of stuffed Cars on an End Cap at Walmart. It felt like Christmas . I do have a request. I was collecting all the cars from McDonalds that ended last week. I got 7 or the 8, the only car I'm missing....Lighting. You would think the main character would be easy to find. So, if anyone out there has an extra Happy Meal Lighting they would part with I'm really love to have it . neo

I hear ya Ady. I've been playing a lot of Arcade games too. Really, my 360 has been disappointing me. I'm sure everything will be better soon because August sees Madden and September seens Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Lego Star Wars II. Anyway, since I only play oblivion I thought I'd take a look at the arcade games. I downloaded the trial version of every last game, lol. I've found myself really hooked on that Outpost game and Pool. Although, like Ady, I found myself being remided at how much I sucked at Gauntlet, Smash TV, and Joust. Either way, the only reason I still have a 360 today is Xbox Live Marketplace and Arcade. And, since we are on the subject, I cannot WAIT for the stinkin' Wii to come out. Not just because of the new, innovative, natural style of gameplay, but for the Virtual Console. Honestly I wasn't too interested in the VC when I first heard it announced. I figured, that's nice, but that's all it. However, since playing with my Xbox Live Arcade I actually realized just how AWESOME this feature can be. Not only for 3 generations of Nintendo games (both 1st and 3rd party) but also for new games. Just think how easy it would be to release a game like "New Super Mario Bros." on the Wii virtual console. Just think if they released a base game and then every month or so added new levels. The game would never end. I think that downloadable games and content is going to be one of the biggest features of the next-gen and I think while I credit MS for starting the fad, I feel sure that Nintendo is going to really show just how great these features are with WiiConnect24. Man, I'm ready for the Holidays . neo

Talk about hands being cramped. My Sister-in-law and her husband and her brother all came over for the 4th. We had a cookout. They all have a Nintendo DS and me and my Wife do. So we played about 75 rounds of Mario Kart and then just the 3 guy played about 25 rounds of Metroid Prime: Hunters while the 2 girls played each other in Big Brain Academy. My thumbs (Right thumb especially) was feeling it last night but it was F.U.N. neo

Oh yeah, New Super Mario Bros. is a MUST-HAVE title. One of the best games I've played in a very long time. I got the message ady, thanks. I lost my account (some stupid MS crap) and they wouldn't let me get my gamertag back so I had to pick a new one. It kinda ticked me off. Well, I thought it would be a good time to start a Video game thread. The summer months are always sparce, but come Fall things get good. Of course the Kickoff to the Fall season is always Madden. It technically comes out at the end of Summer, but it's a nice leadway into fall. I figured this would be a nice place to discuss all things in gaming. Current-Gen (PS2, Xbox, 'Cube), Next-Gen (PS3, Xbox 360), New-Gen (Wii), and Handheld (NDS, GBA, PSP). The sky is the limit. Also, if you are on Xbox Live include your Gamertag and if you play Nintendo DS include your Friend Codes for all of your online games. Xbox Live Gamertag: NeoDS (I just had to change my gamertag, long story) To start the discussion I thought I'd ask if anyone is interested in Nintendo's "Touch Generation" titles? Right now there are only 4 titles listed until Touch Generations: Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, Nintendogs, and Sudoku Gridmaster. Currently I own Brain Age, Big Brain, and Nintendogs. I love them all very much, although Nintendogs does get pretty boring . I was thinking about getting Suduko, but right now there are a ton of Suduko puzzles on Brain Age so I'll probably hold off. I really love the idea of Touch Generations and hope that Nintendo brings it to Wii. neo

iTunes was offered the FULL pilot episode for FREE over the weekend. I downloaded it but I haven't watched it yet. I'll prolly check it out tonight. neo

Awesome, I can't wait for this movie. I wonder how story is going to go. Obviously they can't say the Bots were from Mars !?!? Maybe they've been stationed there doing recon on Earth or something. Either way I hope it's more serious and dramatic. Even though we don't get to see anyone transform, the Title transforming at the end was pretty dang cool and I'm sure that was put there as a little peak at what it's gonna look like. Man, with Spidey 3, Pirates 3, and Transformers coming out next year, it's going to be a HOT summer. neo

Mariko -Seriously, does anyone at all care about Mariko as a character or a person or even a toy. She is completely useless and only served as another way to get a wolverine released. Hate the most? Shadowcat -If you haven't heard my rant before, Kitty DOESN'T DISAPPEAR. She walks through objects. There is NO REASON for her to have "Invisible" hands and legs. I hate it. Also, I'd like to defend my "Spider-Sense" Spiderman. Ever since Spidey was created there has been a debate on how to "show" his Spider Sense. It was classic in the comics to see 1 half Peter and 1 half Spidey to signal his Spider Sense being triggered. If for no other reason, I love the nostalgia of the figure. Honestly, if is one of my Favorite Spidey variations....so cut the poor mate some slack . neo

I'd rather see general boxed sets based off of series or teams rather than covers. Honesly, will all the delays and lack of villains and re-released Spiderman and Wolverine figures. This is truly the 1st time that I've just been so dissapointed with AA/DST and Marvel Minimates. Shadowcat is one of my favorite figures and dang if they don't screw her every which way but loose. Do they not even read comics. Kitty "Phases" through stuff she doesn't become invisible. There is NO POINT in her clear body parts. This would be the 1st minimate that I could live without. Alas, it does come with Beast so I regretfully have to purchase a worthless, uninspired, loss of a figure that is an "Invisible" Shadowcat. neo

I voted: 'Say YES to Boxes' My reasoning is simple, you can keep the boxes. I don't have any of the blister sets that I bought at first, but I have everyone of the boxed packages I bought (including multi-packs). I can see the appeal of visable figures for kids, but I'd still prefer the boxes anyday. Of course, in a perfect world we'd have Boxes with opening flaps on the front revealing the figures. That would be too much trouble and too expensive, but again this isn't a perfect world . neo

Honestly, I'm not a big "Action Figure" fan. I prefer smaller toys (Minimates, Kubricks, etc) and Building Toys (LEGO, Megabloks, etc). When I was younger I did collect the 3 3/4 figures and I loved them. The highlight of my younger years was "The General", which for any that don't remember was this HUGE tank/base kind of thing. Man, I wish I still had that. That being said, I really like the look of the Sigma line and I plan to pick up everyone of the 2.5 inch figures. Not only do the smaller figures look cool but the Vehicles look AMAZING. Plus, they will fit right in with my Minimates . It's Win, Win. neo

Ok, I have one final idea. I was thinking about this all day, here goes: Title: Minimate World Genre: MMORPG Players: 1 Platforms: Xbox 360, Wii, PC Release Date: Spring 2007 Story: You are the star of your own Minimate adventure. You are a custom, Made-to-order Minimate who was purchased by a collector. Soon after you come in contact with the collector something happens to all humans. There is a new toy, a Psycho Mate who is trying to take over the world. With all the humans out of commission it's up the only toy on the street with enough attitude to fight back - You (along with hundereds of other Custom Mates). Presentation: Think Toy Story meets City of Heroes. You start the game with a huge, in depth Create-a-Mate. You can change the design of the Mate, you can add hair or clothes, and you can pick from a large list of weapons/accessories (all will be upgradable with online patches and updates). From there you are taken to the "Power" or "Ability" section. Here you will choose what type of a Mate you want to be and how you are going to dish out the pain. Then, it's time to enter the world. The world is actually the world of a toy, so one section of the world would just be 1 house. You can travel outside and down to the road to a LARGE Retail store or a take a look around a Gas station or just hang out around the flower bed. Psycho Mates aren't your only worries though. There are worms and insects and small mammals. Some missions might even have you teaming up with friends to take out a squrrel to unlock a new area. Graphics: The engine would be total 3D and probably look and feel a lot like City of Heroes, only with more Color and more over the top fun presentations. Gameplay: At it's core it is just an Action/Adventure game. You can use Button 1 for Punch/Action, Button 2 for Kick/Action, Button 3 for Power Attack/Special Attack, and Button 4 for Jump. Your mission would be simple. Find and friend and find out what's going on. Join up and make teams. The battles would be more Action than that of City of Heroes. You would run around in full 3D attacking with Punch, Kick, Special or a combo of the 3. Your special attack would resemble special attacks like on X-Men Legends. Where you hold a Shoulder button and can choose from up to 4 different attacks. As you level up, all your stats increase and you unlock more powers to choose from. Online: Unfortunatly there would have to be a fee for a MMORPG, but it wouldn't be more than $10/month. Probably $8.99 or something like that. You would also have full Voice capabilities. You can talk to anyone around within a certain radias. Of you can just zero in or 1 single person or your teamates and just talk with them. The Type-Chat function would be used on the PC. Unlockable Content: Not really a whole lot to "Unlock". You'll just need to keep getting stronger to get deeper into the game. There would be Upgrades released via Download. Things like Special Levels or new Clothes or new Weapons or stuff like that. Wow, reading back over this, it's probably a good thing it will never get made, because I would probably never leave my TV again . neo
