  1. That's how I see it. Right now she refers to my 9 inch JLA figures as 'guys' but knows to pick up Superman, spin him around and make the WOOOSH! noise.
  2. The Thing bust has to be my new favorite accessory. Zach- are there plans to do more FF in the future? Before I make customs I'd love to see your version of Psycho Man, Diablo and few other key FF villains.
  3. I too have a daughter and another one on the way. I've watched everything from Dora to My Little Pony with her.
  4. I was squinting at the package shots online Zach. This is much better. Thanks!!!! I'm getting two of each. I think this will sell even better than the Aussie x-men set.
  5. I love that Jeff is upset that a toy that we aren't making might not glow in the dark. Yeah, I'm weird like that.
  6. Just saw the new in-package pics up on Facebook. I'll let Zach post the pics here if he wants. Happy to see that Mr. Fantastic comes with a Ultimate Nullifier... WA-HOO!!!!
  7. If it is Tron, it better be glow in the dark or I'll be extremely upset.
  8. Now let's do Warner Bros: Ummmm......I got nothing. And neither does Wikipedia in the decade constraints of 1928-1960. Take a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Warner_Bros._films
  9. No Planet of the Apes?? Not beloved?! Okay. Let's see if we can crack this nut with the help of wikipedia using your clues: TWO VEHICLES ONE OF THOSE STUDIOS, let's start with Disney shall we? STEAMBOAT MICKEY, NOT THAT OLD. Okay, so it's past 1928 but before 1960. Let's run down the list of movies: 1930 Snow White & the 7 dwarfs (I'm guessing no since there isn't a vehicle) 1940 Pinocchio (would Monstro count as a vehicle?) Dumbo Bambi Song of the South (the movie Disney somehow 'forgets' much like Roger Rabbit- DOUBTFUL) 1950 Cinderella (pumpkin carriage) Alice in Wonderland Peter Pan (NAH- already did a pirate ship) Lady and the Tramp Sleeping Beauty
  10. I just have way too many minimates as it is- ask Luke. It's not that I'm against trading with people here or buying it from them at cost or even the thrill of the hunt you spoke of Zach. I'm just not going hog wild with the Walking Dead license as much as everyone else is. I LOVE the show, own the trades and even bought the AMC board game- but I'm trying to restrain myself from getting everything associated with it. It's like HEROES all over again (before it sucked). If they are hard to find/come by- it's easier for me to justify not getting them anyway. Zakkatz is 100% right. If I did find them (so far I've only been able to pick up a Rick with the flared coat issue)I look to them for custom accessories. Rick's cowboy hat? It's going towards the fedora of my custom Darkwing Duck. Walking Dead is awesome but my Left 4 Dead customs fill my zombie slot in my collection. Money is still coming your way but it's going towards superhero minimates missing from my collection- namely wave 48, Fantastic Four...............and possible this mystery movie everyone keeps talking about.
  11. I would count Glenda's pink bubble as a vehicle. Or Dorothy's house inside the twister.
  12. Now were talking. How old is old? 90's? 80's? 70's? Planet of the Apes? Beetlejuice? Tron? Jurassic Park? Sleepless in Seattle? Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Killin' me here. :nopity:
  13. People don't care about comics like they used to. There's so many other outlets for entertainment that are faster and more appealing. People would rather see a movie (or play a game) about a superhero than read a comic about him/her. Is the story good? Is the story bad? It doesn't matter. Unless they make a movie about it, it'll only be mentioned by angry fanboys and girls on the forums. And after 700 issues, Marvel is bound to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for ideas and trying something so out there that it'll get some attention regardless if it sucks or not.
  14. The new Nick TMNT figures are doing extremely well and won the toy of the year award. I could see that being a big contender. My other guess? Mars Attacks since we never got the metaluna mutant (it'd be a good replacement) and Zach's been on a astronaut kick. I'd love to see a flying saucer vehicle and since they just did Star Trek they have a mold to work from.Or it's Full House. Danny, DJ, Michelle, the whole gang. Even Comet. I think a Karate Kid TRU exclusive with Danny in his shower halloween costume would be epic. Throw in a skeleton punk as well. Now THAT would sell like gangbusters!! So if we guess this Zach- do we get the whole wave sent to us for our efforts?
  15. So glad I've decided not to collect this wave. What a nightmare.
  16. I'm working on a custom one now....stay tuned. If I pull it off launch pad mcquack is up next or maybe gizmo duck my all time favorite of the duck verse.
  17. Disney afternoon: Chip & dale and their blimp? Tale spin and the sea duck ? Darkwing duck and his duck plane? Gummie bears?? Gold!
  18. Yeah I borrowed it from Facebook.
  19. That's what I thought. Now I want to get multiples so I can do the same for the other three (with a quick name badge decal switch). Too bad they don't make a minimate astronaut helmet. But if we are being 'comic-ally' accurate, the jumpsuits should be purple with blue gloves and boots. I guess either of these could work:
  20. I'm confused. What jumpsuit is Ben supposed to be in? What story line was that from? Or is that supposed to be from when he first went into space with the others?
  21. Just read the leak. That is awful. I'm in my mid-thirties and have all but given up getting new comics. I used to do the weekly LCS pilgrimage with my buddies until the rising cost of the books got to be too much, plus I bought an iPad and just do the digital route now. I pick up books I've read previously and wait for fanboys to bash or praise the new stuff before clicking the purchase button. It also helps not having Wizard around anymore (as fun as those times were) with their "THIS WILL SHAKE THE STATUS QUO OF BOOK X", "SHOCKING TWIST" or "THE TOP 5 BOOKS YOU SHOULD BE READING" blurbs they crammed down our little throats every issue- ultimately having those stories retconned or 'imaginary tales'. It got old fast. Miss the humor, not the "articles". At this point, I cherry pick what I enjoy and ignore the rest. Keeps me from stressing out over something I have no control over. It's not worth it.
  22. Looks like Burt Reynolds.
