Not sure that I can make Black Talon happen. What about American Eagle (classic version)? At no point in there did you say there would be no Dr. Bong. I immediately take that to mean that he will in fact be revealed at NYCC this year. When he isn't I will scream and go insane. No I won't but there is the fact that you only said Black Talon wasn't likely. I swear, if Dr. Bong happens ever, I'll never ask for anything from anyone ever again. And American Eagle would be fun, but I still gotta go with the Chicken Man.

I didn't know who these dudes were, but I want them! A Lot! I was so relieved when Dr. Bong was not some weed smoking gangsta! These are the kind of crazy costumes that make superheroes fun! Yeah, Doc B's name IS somewhat misleading, but we're he that kind of thing, I certainly wouldn't give a crap. Plus he fought Howard The Duck... In a manner of speaking. Plus his name is Lester. Bad guys with silly villain names AND silly civilian names are my favorite thing ever. I would point you to Wilbur and Herman. I would actually love a Dr. Bong book, miniseries or otherwise. And Black Talon, well, he does voodoo. He's actually the main bad guy in one of the marvel zombies things. Although, he doesn't wear the chicken costume and is, as such, worthless to me. Sometimes Marvel just throws ridiculous at the wall and whatever sticks goes out the door. And then the stuff that falls of gets put in books randomly for no apparent reason other than to be just weird. Come on Zach, hell with Kang and Barons Zemo and Von Stucker. Forget the major forces of scum and villainy and all that crap. Dr. Bong / Black Talon 2-pack for NYCC this year.

Thanks. That's actually a small thing on the back of it. The front is the main cast of the book in colored silhouettes with a big smoke pillar behind them taking up the majority of the front of it. It was a birthday present for a friend of mine last year. I just like that back better. That and I can't find any pictures of the front.

I actually thought of one more. A big shocwave base piece for Iron Man and the like who do ground pounds whenever they land really fast. Maybe as a flat center part and then a few wave radiating outward and bigger as they go. It might be Lind of large though. Why am I only coming up with huge epic-like things?

I really like the fact that we're getting a bunch of new stands for these. I can think a few uses for that Viewtiful Joe stand alone.

You do Nextwave as a four pack of The Captain, Elsa Bloodstone, Boom Boom and Monica. Machine Man goes in a two pack with Dirk Anger, because without Dirk, I'm less inclined to be in on this. A water base would be awesome, but I can see it awesome in two separate ways. One would be someone bursting up from underwater. The other would be a small or large tidal wave type thing with a peg on top for them to stand on and basically surf the thing into shore. The second would be my favorite, especially if you get some whales or sharks or whatever to put behind it so it's kind of leading an army. Sadly, I think I'm trying specifically to make something cool for Aquaman in my head here. That's wrong, isn't it?

The warping to the cape might be fixable (I thought of heating it and so on,but wasn't sure how to actually go about it) but if you look at it from the front in a side-by-side with my Stormbreaker Bill, Like So, Then you can see the details on the front of his chest are also pretty low on there and chopped off at the bottom.

I emailed DST days ago because the cape piece on my wave 42 Beta Ray Bill is all kinds of screwed up. They got right back to me and told me they didn't have any replacement parts to send me. Least they're fast about it.

Somebody has to get a bunch of those Sentinels and do a stop-motion hallway scene to that music. Brilliant. And new Ghost. Translucent old Ghost would be excellent, but of the two, I love new Ghost so much more. And I'm looking forward to this wave a lot more since Zach posted these pics. I really only planned to get Ant Man and Giant Man, and initially wasn't too keen on it, but now. Good Lord, Lang alone makes it worthwhile. He looks awesome.

The Stormbreaker Thor is quite good. First appearance Thor might be more if your going for a super old school kind of Avengers. The wave 16 is, I dunno, a little goofy for my tastes. There is also the option of Wave 33's Thor Reborn for a more up to date crazy kind of fun. My personal choice would be the Stormbreaker Thor, but FA Thor has that hair, and there is a lot to be said for it. So it's really up to you.

You think I'm snickering? I just want to cheer you guys up. I tease to give hope, not to torment. If I told you ONE of those four guys was happening this year -- JUST ONE -- would you be happy, sad, angry or satisfied? I know it's good natured. I mean no ill will. We're I in your position, I'm sure I would have cracked and just let everything I knew slip. I would not withstand torture well. And honestly, if it was just one, I don't know that it would matter to me. I'd be ecstatic if it were Zemo, but the rest aren't really big on my radar. They'd all be awesome. Now, if you said only one of those four would get made over the course of a year and they would be no other completely new characters in that year? Well then I'd be doing the "Are you kidding me!?" dance of rage. And yes, it is a real dance I have choreographed (not well) and have been doing since college.

The only one I can actually realistically see happening this year is Winter Soldier, and even that's slim. But he is getting his own new book shortly, so that's really the only reason I see it happening. And now I sit and wait for One (1) Zach Oat to show up and tease and snicker silently as we say speculative junk about things he may have actual answers about but can't tell us. Le Sigh.
