Good, good. Yes. You absolutely have my non-binding permission to skip this wave.

See, now I'm curious what else remains unmade from that old Jim Lee cards set... not curious enough to dig it out of the back of the closet, but curious. But can we also include everyone from the Mark Bagely Spider-Man set too? (the Avengers only got card love in the general MU sets back in the day... sigh)
  3. There is actually a "What are you watching" thread... but it's been a long weekend, and I'll be lazy and let you find it yourself. Personally, I saw Spider-Man last night, and decided to rewatch all the Netflix Marvel stuff in a run up to Defenders. (and a lot of Murder TV, why? I have no idea)
  4. Saw it. Loved it. Loved it's tone, loved that Tom could play both Spider-man and Peter, (Andrew was a good Spider-Man, Tobey a good Peter, but neither could do both well) LOVED Keaton, Spider-sense thing didn't bother me, because I never understood exactly why it warned him about new people he already knew and mostly trusted learning his ID anyway.
  5. Of course Surtur's in the movie... it's called Ragnarok... and Surtur crossing the Bifrost to lay waste to Asgard is one of the few elements of Norse myth the Stan and Jack didn't bend into a pretzel knot in Marvel's version of the Asgardian legend. And Fenris has to be there too. That red/silver/black thing looks like a Celestial. How that'll figure in, I don't know. What makes me happy is the if that's movie Skurge's basic design, then he'll make a fine addition to the 616 minimates... assuming he gets made. Going to be more than kinda upset if he joins Fandral, and Hogun in the legion of the unmade... but we get Bruce Banner... again... (Just sayin' I know he got left out on Avengers, you made up for it Avengers 2, and there's actual Asgardians that we may miss out on giving him a second slot)
  6. I got a Marvel Unlimited subscription as a gift several years ago. I have to wait a while to read anything super new, but considering what I'm getting for the money, it's been worth it to keep it up. And they've added more and more old stuff as it's rolled along, so I re-read all of the Byrne Fantastic Four a while back. And between spoiler loaded sites and the handful of spots you can still find comics in the wild, I can keep current enough.
  7. ooooo... Stonewall... there's an idea...
  8. Okay... now that we've all had a nice ride on the modern comics suck bandwagon. (always remember, the good old days weren't always good. in fact they regularly sucked too) Thanks for the hints, Zach.
  9. Hmmm. You mean like top Russian spy and assassin turned hero? Industrial saboteur and international espionage collaborator turned hero? Drug dealer turned hero? Pair of international terrorists turned hero? (Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch)
  10. Freaqu, If I go through with it, I will keep you in mind for the Toad. Not into Zombies... just... never have been into them. I have thought about using Jean's head and mask, a little red paint, and tracking down and making a proper Firestar. The existing uses her 1st costume's bodysuit with her 3rd costume's mask. A little red on Jean's mask is a whole lot easier than the current option of completely repainting Star Sapphire's headpiece. What to do with the rest of her... and all of Pietro...
  11. See, now comes the moment when my long suffering wife will fuss at me when she finds out I'm thinking this way, but I'm already trying to think of quick customs I can do with all the other parts so I can have a Mastermind and an Xavier simultaneously. I mean, If I can come up with uses for the other three figures, that would justify the purchase of an extra set, right? Right?
  12. Ned Leeds... classic Spider-Man character that Peter didn't meet until well after high school, and then only as the guy his first girlfriend eventually marries. They keep inventing friends for Peter in high school, when the sad fact was, he had none. Not really. Like so many people I know, he didn't really come into his own socially until he got to college. That's when folks like Harry, MJ, and Gwen, and most of the other people we think of as being in Peter's circle of friends first shows up. Originally, only Liz, the cheerleader Peter had a crush on, and Flash, his eternal tormentor, even had names. Until Busiek came along and retconned some folks in decades later. And his first girl friend was JJJ's secretary Betty, who only knew Peter as the shy photographer who freelanced at the Bugle. Again, away from Midtown High, and people's preconceived notions about how uncool and nerdy he was.
  13. Maybe where you live, Luck. My area, Darkhawk lingered for weeks until it was clearanced away. So did both sizes of Moon Knight. Heck I probably still find you the 3 3/4" Moon Knight if you want one. Speed Demon, Tiger Shark, Nighthawk, Ms. Beetle, Wasp, Boomerang- They're all still around. Ask Lurch, we hunt the same stores. He'll back me up. You can't find anything short packed, but if it's common, we're choking on Legends around here. Except Spider-man, Iron Man or Cap. Those move. The minor villains I wish minimates made more of, they sit and sit and sit.
  14. Cassie died. Then got better. She's going by Stinger now, just like MC2 counterpart. Vison 2.0 died on the same mission too, he did not get better. Hulking and Billy have "retired" for now after Sunspot's AIM Avengers went belly up. Patriot retired after the mission that resulted in Cassie and Vison's deaths and moved to the Midwest.
  15. Yeeeeah... Blondverine is back. Looks like Wolverine will still be on every team of X-Men... except now it'll be different Not-quite-verines.

We think so, Matt. They would be the two we're less sure about.
  17. Oh you poor unfortunate soul, in pain, in need... sorry, wrong movie. As with Predator, see Alien and Aliens, Skip the rest. Well you can watch the first 3/4 of Aliens 4 (Be sure that you stop AS SOON as Ripley gets separated from the group/captured by the Xeno's and then turn the movie off and NEVER finish it. You will be happier that way... trust me on this!!!)
  18. You... haven't... not even the first one?!?!?!? Have you no culture, sir? Watch Predator and Predator 2 this weekend. (quality degrades rapidly after that)
  19. There's Lego everything these days. It's part of why Mattel is getting twitchy, all these years they've been fighting to stay number one ahead of Hasbro, then the last few years Lego passed them both.

Then you can skip a wave. Personally anything Asgardian is very appealing.
  21. I'm still looking for a Hydro-Man I won't have to take out a second mortgage for so I feel your pain, Buff. But you know what I want to see here in 75? (Filtered through the reality of what I could reasonable expect of course) At least a few of the unmade choices from the Series 50 vote. As you can see here, besides the winners many of the others on that list have gotten made in the 5 years since. But others remain. Hydro Armor Iron Man, Mutated Thing (Extra-Rocky), Team X Wolverine, Werewolf Captain America, Gladiator (Shi'ar), Abomination, Vengeance, the Wrecker And for Army Builders - The Dire Wraiths, HAMMER Agents, Madrox the Multiple Man (Classic), the Mindless Ones, the Stepford Cuckoos, and the Warwolves If just one of those gets made in this series, I'll be a happy man. (P.S. the vote totals shown on the linked page only represent MMMVeres vote on the forums companion poll, not the actual Marvel website votes which vastly outnumbered our own)
  22. How's this one coming, Zach? Any new clues you can share?
  23. Mirymate

    wave 74

Not really. But there's another OML variant in it almost for sure, so people are losing their minds over it, as this and the SDCC reveal are apparently the worst reveals ever. So, all in all a pretty typical wave so far.

That was because Cain's guest spot in early issues of Excalibur is one of the funniest bits in Marvel Comics ever. EVER.
