  1. I don't remember what I said I wanted in my email thing lol... any of the minimates on my list would be nice but it's the thought that counts EDIT: I don't know if this was ever answered or not, but did we ever sort out the spending limit?
  2. It's usually like that here too. Still no Mojo. The only real luck I've ever had was finding a fresh Onslaught shipment. Got em all! On another note, who thinks packaging a minimate version of a character with a Marvel Legends would be awesome? that would be AWESOME! and we have got SOME of the mojo series, but no falcon... and he's the only one i'm interested in
  3. awesome choice for a user name welcome aboard!!!
  4. not in my neck of the woods, at least not yet. only one i'm picking up in moonknight. the piece I get (whichever it is) is up for grabs
  5. I do. ...sorta i'll go see the movie, just to see it.
  6. That, would be AWESOME, although if they make another street fighter wave we can pretty much make it ourselves not megaman or captain commando! mmmmm megaman minimate *drools*
  7. I want a raft sentry soooo bad. none of my LCS's had any left. an employee at my most-frequented comic store told me whenever a wave gets released, they have people waiting outside to buy most of them up, namely the variants. so it looks like i'm going to have to start taking wednesdays off if I ever hope to obtain a variant of my own.
  8. the speed racer and street fighter minis are in the clearance isle at a few of my local TRU's (though not actually ON clearance), so I assume they aren't selling too well. the marvel minimates are in the marvel action figure section though
  9. I cannot wait to see this... sandman, bruce campbell and venom, how can that get better?!?!
  10. that is awesome. really, really awesome. great work nervous!
  11. they don't appear to be selling too well here, but I really hope they release more... and more darkstalkers as well. how cool would a marvel vs. capcom series be?
  12. for me it was... 1.) walmart, november 2004: "a wee bullseye figure? awesome! I must have" (LONG HIATUS) 2.) after seeing the batman lego sets released: "I should have my tiny lego batman fight my bullseye... where IS my bullseye?!?" 3.) while searching for a new bullseye at target: "they make blade and punisher ones?!?! I can't not get the punisher" 4.) while in search of bullseye at my LCS: "hey, this store carries the original TRU 10-packs, it's only $20, I'll get this... comes with a cool ghost rider" 5.) browsing a LCS on some random day: "hey, I don't have ANY of these *empties wallet*" 6.) while getting the new avengers pack at TRU: "hey, dimitri and morrigan, now I HAVE to have these... I mean, come on! 7.) while at minimates anonymous: "my name is charles, and I am a minimate-aholic"
  13. sweet, hercules! I will get him, but not so much the others.
  14. these look awful. awful. except xorn, i'll get him =)
  15. I got mine as well, this will be a very easy shopping trip indeed.
  16. I don't necessarily see any of the quality issues mentioned being extremely bad, except the Sentry's missing belt. My perception of these figures is that they are fine. They are not perfect, but when I opened them all and played with them a little bit, nothing bothered me much other than the stiff legs on my Chase Sentry. If anything, AA will probably fix these issues if they are rereleased at Target. I'm a happy camper, but I can understand why the issues are brought up. I agree entirely. upon opening mine, I noticed nothing really WRONG with them, aside from sentry's belt. no clue how they effed that up. i'm just happy to have rounded my new avengers team out =) and I would sell my soul (literally) for the variant sentry.
  17. I love all the monster cereals. I wish we could get some Monster cereal minimates and not those dumb Kellogg's characters. yeah! that would be sweet. for count chocula, they could reuse dimitri's hair and cape.
  18. yeah, same here. I found some long-lost cousins and alot of old friends as well. myspace is quite the useful tool indeed.
  19. haha, guess I should have read ady's post about "we should make this a weekend thing" before trying to join a second ago. I was all "dubba U tee eff?" christ i'm a dork. I still haven't got a chance to join when everyone else is on
  20. hopefully, i'll have one soon I will for sure do that WD40 trick, I am taking no risks with my nightcrawler. i'd really like a thunderbird as well... how cool it'd be to have a warpath
  21. I love frankenberry!!! I haven't had it in forever... I should try and pick up a box.
  22. I do the same, for the most part. I like them much more, there's no anticipation. plus, most of them come in hardback, which I LOVE!!! they look so sleek and awesome on a shelf, and proudly display my nerdiness actually, I own more tpb's than I do comics. and that's saying alot. given, about a year ago, I was forced to part ways with my entire collection (thousands), but i've built myself up a pretty decent collection again. but I stray from my point, tpb's are awesome.
  23. yeah, I may pick up the ghost rider thing. I think this is really cool. I mean, such a tight-knit community... where friends from far away just buy each other presents, and send them for no particular reason... it's really awesome.
