I recently purchased a Max Sentinel off eBay. The figure is nice, but the figures left leg is kind of loose. It still stands up and has a good footing, but the connection between the leg and the body is not 100% solid. Is this normal and/or have any of you had this issue. Does it maybe come from too much time on the shelf? I'm not going to return it or anything because it took me too long to find one for a decent price, but I would like to know. Thanks.

I already have the Archangel variant and a lot of people have the Death Angel too. I'd be buying a preorder wave 31 set just for the FA Angel to complete the FA X-men set, which is a lot for a total of 3 Angels (or 4 for some). It seems that we're all at the mercy of DST/AA on this one...

Whew, glad I didn't pre-order the Champions Box set just for Angel! This is much better for the X-Men collectors, in my opinion. Very satisfied with this lot, and I haven't even got my Wave 28 pre-orders yet. Lockheed is a great addition, Multiple Man is fantastic. I can't wait. Edit: It's cool that they put the two Angel variants with Multiple Man figures so that if you buy both you can have a pair of Multiples.

I went out on my first TRU hunt after seeing the Help-an-overseas buddy out with BE/MS post. I have no need for any of the recent exclusives, but since I was in town I figured I check out the Minimates selection. All I found were Wolverine Origins, Heroes and Villains, and Union Jack sets. The pegs were completely full. When I asked a clerk if they had any Ghostbusters figures they said that the only new toys they had were G-Force. I'm not really sure what this means, other than the fact that I won't be going to brick and mortar TRUs for Minimates any time soon.

Here is my mutant collection to date. I started with a main batch (in the rows and background), but then expanded to a secondary set (on the right). The left side has some zombies. My big wants right now are a Max Sentinel, and the SDCC Angel when it comes out. I have already pre-ordered most of Wave 28. Enjoy! p.s. I was wondering, for those few of us who are just going to get a single promo at our LCBS on May 2, who's going to open theirs? I haven't made a decision yet. I have a 2005 FCBD unopened, but I have this "vision" of having the two promos flanking my new Leather Wolverine with guns, a la Charlie's Angels.

My Iceman Minimate's left hand is stuck in the ice fist add-on and I was wondering if anyone here knew of a reasonable way to remove the hand without damaging the peg or breaking it off totally inside the fist. Thanks!

Unfortunately I will be banking on the fact that my LCBS will have them for FCBD. This is a good bet because they had the Iron Man Heroclix last year. Doubly unfortunate is the fact that I have to walk there because my girlfriend's taking the car out of town that week. Triply unfortunate that I'll miss the opening day of Wolverine that week too! So is the "complicated" life of a comic nerd.

Hello. My name is Shane and I am from Oregon. I've been collecting Minimates since Christmas. I went to a Things From Another World comic shop and bought the SDCC Cyclops/Dark Phoenix pack, and haven't looked back. I am mostly interested in collecting as many mutant 'mates from the Marvel Universe. I've found that the hardest to get a hold of so far are Nightcrawler and Mystique for some reason. I've been collecting miniatures for most of my life (starting with Ninja Turtle Mini Mutants from like 1995). I have many Star Wars Titanium die-cast figures, Mario and Zelda mystery egg minis, Pokemon minis, Halo minis, and Marvel die-cast minis. I also have a small but reasonable collection of full-size Halo and Star Wars Unleashed figures. I have 120+ Ninja Turtles, 50+ Beast Wars, and 30+ Jurassic Park figures in storage. This community seems great and I look forward to many months of discussion and friendship. I have posted a couple pics of my 'mates collection as it stands now.
