Heh, what's even cooler is having one more original X-Man in my collection...now I just need Archangel in some form. Hurry up Diamond!

And they're out! Picked up Beast/Kitty Pride(Btw, whoever thought Shadowcat "phasing" looks like going invisable needs to be talked to.) and Cyclops/Emma at my comic shop. Didn't see the varaint DoFP Logan and since I got the TRU four pack, I skipped on Colossus and Wolverine since those two weren't as bad as the TRU Cyke/Emma. Quick reviews: Beast looks like he's been crafted from Wolverine hair, and a repainted New X-Men jacket for his chest. His face is very cat like, and while it looks good, it makes me long for the days of the ape-like beast. Kitty Pride got the Dark Phoenix/Firestar hair, and a New X-Men belt ala Astonishing Cyke, and while her feet and hands are clear, her legs and arms are smokey minus the yellow costume parts. Not a huge fan of that phasing effect, but it's nice to finally have a completed Marvel Team within a wave!

Yeah, Foster was featured in a bit of promotion in a X-suit, but Ratner decided toward the end to keep him out of the battle and just rescue dad. As for Phoenix, I wonder how long til we get a glimpse of her? Wizard World? I'm really curious to see her.

Hopefully the wave is soon after the New Avengers/Astonishing X-Men waves...DS needs to get back to getting minimates out and about....Maybe an Ultimates wave after this for Ultimates III?

Notice how I didn't include him in the wave...we've now had two chances to get his animated form in both the Giant Sized package, and the Wolverine/Iceman Target two pack. Rouge we got with Mystique, so that's two. Now if only there were a way around that stupid "no hoverchair" thing for Prof X.....

I was just thinking about potential waves, and given the love for this series, I was wondering if anyone else would be interested a wave of mates based off the old show, as it also kill the need for Jim Lee era mates . I'd hope a wave would go like this: Animated Cyclops/Animated Jean Grey Animated Storm/Animated Morph(w/extra Dark Morph head) Animated Jubilee/Animated Gambit chase: Jean Grey in green mini skirt uniform

I'm excited....I'll pretty much buy any X-Minimate that comes out, and I think these look good. Juggernaut and Beast look the best, while Jean looks weird. I'd imagine for Phoenix, the face would be darkened, and her hair is probably going to be a new mold, more wild and crazy.
