Sad to hear the paint apps aren't up to par. So far haven't seen them here yet. To solve the car problem, AA is also supposed to have other Speed toys with cars released too. I'm hoping the deluxe vehicle will work ok for the minimates (hopefully near the same size as the C3 Batmobile).

Ah, the return of the mystery batcave piece *dun dun daaaaa* Originally intended to be a gateway at the bottom of the staircase in the first design of the cave Later the staircase moved a bit but the gateway still remained. It shows on the box in the same place but hard to see, however in the current assembly guide it only shows to the side of the set instead of near the steps. Other mysteries solved ... Cat having trouble holding her bag of goodies? Pull the top Still pending mysteries ... The Batdart??? Is it a dart? Is it a flower? Or some other magical weapon? Where did it come from?

Read this review before buying these DVD's So glad I didn't sell my box set to pick up this new set Little-to-no bonus features, crap sound & picture for the original versions (they could have cleaned it up a little), just an unjust craptastic release of the classic films Great release Lucas ....

As far as Thing, regular should be 2" (he's at ~6') but I would say 2.5" for Ultimate Thing (he's over 7' in the Ultimate Universe).

Word of warning to those thinking about buying this DVD, there will be a "Ridley Scott's Blade Runner: The Final Cut" release in 2007 (1st Quarter I think) plus a multi-disc edition (3rd or 4th Quarter) with ALL VERSIONS (theatrical/directors/final cut). The version released today is the exact same as the previously released Director's cut dvd just with better sound and picture. Save your money, buy the multi-disc set next year Plus next year's releases will have HD and Blu-Ray releases too.

Best response from the above link: I'm with Luke on this, I wish they were more like the original designs but so far the new designs are pretty neat (Blackout looks really good). But, I'm not fond of Megatron's design, doesn't even look like a Transformer I miss the old school stuff "Go Soundwave, it's your birthday" lol

Full breakdown of the JLU dvd set here. Looks like full season 1 & full season 2 of JLU (season 3 & 4), interesting Perhaps to keep up with the 4-disk sets that they have been releasing (26 episodes per set), JLU season 1 & 2 were shorter with 13 episodes instead of the 26 of JL season 1 & 2. Just means that the last set will be a 2-disk set and cheaper. Works for me

No new trailers yet (just the teaser trailer has been released so far), but Access Hollywood has been showing some clips of the movie production. Nothing too spectacular, just humans (some Bot glimpses in vehicle form)

I think the main problem was the distribution. My comic store didn't even order these. They should have had these in every major video game store (EB, Gamestop, etc) and the same places that sold other SF toys (Hot Topic, Spencer Gifts, Suncoast, Tower, etc). Best Buy would have been hard to get into (they're not big on selling toys), but if they did, these figures would have done great. Of course they're not going to sell if the product is not readily available to those that would buy it. I can see how the Darkstalkers could be a deterrence but they did pick good, popular characters for the first two waves. If you've heard of Darkstalkers before you more than likely know Morrigan, Demitri, Felcia & John Talbain.
