  1. Umm... okay, so no comments from last time. I just wanna throw it out there that Ireally appreaciate feedback on my stuff, so, please let me know what you think. Alright, enough begging, onto the customs. These are Watchmen characters again, but no redos this time. OZYMANDIAS: And let's not forget.... BUBASTIS: This one was tricky, but she was extemely fun to make. This is my favorite of this set of customs A master and his pet WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN? Thanks for looking, and once again, feedback is greatly aprecciated
  2. good to know someone else invisioned him as opac. I was begining to think I was the only one. He looks great by the way, as do all of your customs.
  3. Thanks for the comments guys! Okay, more Watchmen customs again. Have to finish this set up, cause it's driving me crazy for it to be incomplete. Today, We have three customs. 1 completely new, 1 a slight reworking of a previous custom, and 1 who started out as an easy rehash and turned into a complete redo. SILK SPECTRE II: DR. MANHATTAN: There was nothing majorly wrong with my original of this guy, but I figured if I was making everyone else, he could use a touchup. NITE OWL II: Boy was this guy tricky. I originally was just gonna repaint my first one, but then as I looked at the source material, I realized he needed some major work. The cape proved to be the hardest part, as it took me like ten tries assembling it to realize that the plastic I was ressitant to being glued to itself. I finally decided to prime it, and then, it finally seemed to work.
  4. Fixed the Mouth and brightened up the hair
  5. Rorschach's coat is from Guy Gardner with a custom waist piece added to make it a trench coat. And in person the hair is much redder than the brown in the pic.
  6. Thanks for the comments guys MinimateEspo25: to answer your question, these are are my modern characters, but I also have silver and golden age characters, so my main way of differentiating between time periods is color. Ok, so today, I've got one new custom and two redo's of previous customs. I'm In a Watchmen mood lately, so that's why I made these guys First up, THE COMEDIAN ROARSCACH(Normal and Prison) I had originally only intended to give him two heads, masked and un masked, but then I wanted to display both, so I made a prison escape body for the unmasked head.
  7. thanks once again fo the compliments guys. Sorry it's taken me so long to update, but life's been pretty hectic lately. I haven't had any time to finish an actual 'mates lately, but I have had some time to do some designs. Enjoy, and remember: Comment's are always welcome
  8. With out a doubt it was exploded head/hook hands T-1000. This is the version of the character I've wanted since the license was announced.
  9. Is it just me, or are these Black Lantern choices...interesting...? I mean, the two...well, three, but i'm not counting Black Hand, are both I wonder what this means... Actually at laest that's how it was in the original multiverse
  10. It's not an exact match to either, although it is pretty close to abomb.
  11. I don't think my pics do these guys justice. I really like them alot, especially Beast and Phoenix. My only real complaints would be the girls' hair, and the fact that Beast's hair piece doesn't completely cover the skrull face. But I really like these guys, and I need to find some permanent bodies for the extra skrull heads. The wolvie also reminded me how cool this guy can be( the zombie, AXM, and DOFP didn't really do that) Oh, and A.J.V., it does, that's the last pic
  12. Just goot these from my LCS. Here they are: Interesting Facts- - The Female hair pieces don't fit quite as well as the prototypes - The claw hands are the same size as normal hands - Beast features venom hands, as opposed to the normal hands the prototype showed
  13. Definitely planning on at least improving the previous D'anna with the new face, but she hasn't been done yet, and as for Natalie, she needs a unique hair sculpt, which I haven't had the tome to try and sculpt it.
  14. Thanks once again for the compliments guys! Glad to know you liked Skrullpool so much. Let me start this update out by saying I was REALLY looking forward to BSG waves 5 & 6. I also denied their cancellation until DST's Q&A response. Now the acceptance has started to set in, however, that doesn't mean I'm just going to forget about the characters. While digging through my parts bin, I came across certain parts that really made me determined to make my own personal copies of some of these characters. So, I sat down, found prototype shots, captured faces, and picked coresponding parts, to try and finish off the collection. Reverend Cavil( Number One): Leoben(Number 2?): This guy's my favorite character on the show, so he was a must, but, I decided to take an artistic license with him, basing him on his appearances while exploring earth, as that design was slightly easier. Captive Six: Sam Anders: Aaron Doral:
  15. You could always use the legs from the series one Hulk. I think he looks pretty good, and the colors are almost a perfect match
  16. Thanks once agian for the compliments guys. So the story of why I made the 'mate shown today is very long and drawn out, so I'll spare you the detaiils. The gist of it is: I was going to make a Deadpool a few months ago, Diamond announced their's, my project was sidelined, The official Deadpool was pushed back, I decided I couldn't wait, I dug mine out, decided that I had to do something unique with him, and finally settled on the following design. Without further ado, I present... Skrullpool(Deadskrull?) The Skrull with a mouth
  17. Nice batman beyond! need to figure out how to make wings for mine
  18. I doubt this will end up the same, because this property, unlike the others mentioned, has less necessarry characters. In fact, if that T-100 comes with a spare torso, I'll be perfectly happy if this is all we get.
  19. I personally don't believe Just a thought that occured to me. Though others will most likely disagree with me on this.
  20. They're not horrible, but after the pictures of Marvel 25 and the Terminator minimates, I find these very underwelming. I might pick up Blob because he's a new character, but even he just seems ...ehh... No offense to those who like them, just not my cup of tea, I guess.
  21. While I do have an inetrest in the movie, I would have much prefered the original wave 26 arrive on time. unless they are stunning the moment I see them, these will be a pass for me
  22. Which arm was loose on Question? Because mine has the exact same problem (right arm won't stay in the shoulder socket). I don't have that many DCD mates so I don't have that many problems to report, except for some white scratches on Batwoman's cape (probably due to bad handling... fixed it with black marker, no biggie) and a smudged paint job on the bottom of Supergirl's cape (which I'm pretty much stuck with... can't complain). Barring these I've been lucky with most of my figures so far, nothing broken yet. It's the right
  23. If you still have any of the packaging, it would be cool to see it Sadly not, the packaging was pretty beatup (oddly not the shipping box which means AFX's shipping company is at fault) and I opened and threw the boxes away in a bit of a tantrum! The packaging is exactly the same style as wave 24 from TRU though, with mostly green boxes. T. To bad. Thanks anyway though.
