hey guys, i'm down with the split as well. sorry for the late response, to answer a few questions... The hands, and hammer are from a mini TMNT set, and are glued to the KISS gauntlets, it is almost a perfect fit, they really link up nice. The nose, feet,and base are sculpted using miliput. The ears are cut from some random elephant i found at kb, and built out with miliput for a better fit. there are some tiny stones, a twig, and some fake grass also in the base, which was originally a spiderman base, and even has foot indentations so he slides ride onto the base. the tusks are just lego horns, and the rest is just from various kiss mate parts. glad you guys like him, it was very fun to make forgot about his helmet, it is removable, and sculpted with miliput, and has jewels(from little craft pack) going front to back

Excellent stuff so far guys, I am 99% finished with mine, just a few tiny touch ups, and a spray down with some matte sealer. Here is my charitymate... Elephant Bob-The Hammer of Woodlyn or Tusca-Don...can't make up my mind yet Hope you like, this dude is huge, I'll post some comparison shots in my customs thread Mrs. Nervousloves him, and asked me if I was gonna be able to part with it! Settle down a little man, everything is going to be ok. This is a two-pack, not an entire series or boxset. If you don't like them, that is cool, they are not my favorite ones either, but I do like them, and guess what...they will be the first ones my wife will ever own, so maybe they weren't thinking of you when making them, or anyone else who may think the world is coming to an end by these getting made. Perhaps its a shot to see if they can hook any other type buyers...like my wife, who may like Madge. I dont think they would expect these to be the best sellers, but maybe it will lead the way for other pretty cool movie mate 2-packs that would otherwise never be made...........c'mon SNATCH mates...me needs a Mickey and Bullettooth Tony

hey Fooj, great job dude, I really like the paint details, and you know I love the inclusion of lego parts. Boyd, excellent start man, I am waiting to see the final product, especially since one of my upcoming MOTU heroes is bee-themed. Hopefully I will get the last few parts I ordered from bricklink in the next few days, then I can do the paint. 99% of the sculpting stuff is done, so just waiting on that to get it done. looking forward to the rest of the customs!

Hey gang, back again with some non-minimate stuff. here is my first project in the world of 3D, the idea was to model and texture a vehicle, and environment for the vehicle. I chose to do a Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank, and a made up mountaintop Cobra base. What do you guys think?

Hey MOC, really, i mean really nice Snake Eyes, I think it is a very nice match The only thing I think I would have added would be some sort of muscle tone to the torso, but that is just me, you really don't have to change a thing. A very nice V1 SE!

Hey guys, thanks again for checking out my customs. Really haven't done too much lately, here are a few I have had in the works for some time now. Mary Jane was a comission I took on, and am really happy with how it came out. here is the source image. probably the toughest paint job I had so far. here are a few just for fun. I never heard of this dude before, but just picture him watching his favorite sitcom in his chair. here is the finished Destro with chromed head. Great news on all(most) fronts! I, for one, will be picking up the Susan set. I love all the new Iron Man stuff, and really like the Civil War set. I like how Cap has the new boots on, and would like to see the Iron Spidey up close, looks like some updated paint aps, maybe gold. The Razor Cylons, and Rocky 3 have me most excited, I love the attention to detail with Rocky,things like the blow up punching bag are great! wish hulk was 2.5 inches, but will use his head for sure on some customs. Nova is awesome as well. I am bummed about Platoon, because it makes me want GI Joe mates even more now. The only big downer is the DC stuff, There are a few more I wish were done before they shut it down. Hopefully it will pick up at some point down the road

Yep ...besides minimates, the thing I am most looking forward to seeing is the GI Joe stuff.

Hey mods, I was wondering, and didn't see (after a very quick scan.......very quick ) a spot for the new toyfair images, and was wondering if we get any images we can throw them all in one spot to check them out, and then later on separate them into the different sections. Now with so many new properties , and possibly more, it may be easier for the lazy ones like myself to keep them in one spot for the duration of toyfair.......any thoughts? just an idea

No. But if Marvel has to end, i would really want GI Joe to be the replacement. Without a doubt I would 100 %trade Marvel for G.I. Joe.....surprised? After Angel(which we get...wish it was feather wings) the only other one would be Captain Marvel(all versions) that I really want, after that, I don't need any more in my Marvel mate posse. Yo Joe! especially with surge in newly sculpted parts lately

Hey Tenime, good thing I didn't use my gold sp.....I mean wolverine for that photoshop pic having a little more fun with chrome guys with a few things I really hoped would have been chromed, like Thor's helmet, and the classic cylons and a comparison shot next up is another Cobra I have been holding onto , and probably my favorite bad guy in G.I.Joe, Firefly here is a little diorama i have set up on a shelf here is a wip of a new destro, using a 25th anniversary collar, i have a chromed head waiting for him, just have to print out some decals for his face(of other stuff too, soon to come ) while I am at it, here are a few G.I.Joe 25th anniversary repaints the collar-less destro(and unmasked), a wip, going to add some red to his upper body a crimson guard with a repainted visor a repainted Snake Eyes with a chromed visor and what to do with all the extra Cobra Commanders....a faded statue on a custom cobra base, to inspire my Cobra troops experimenting with coloring the chrome using serpentor thanks for looking, hope this wasn't too many pics at once -NERV

Hey Gang, Merry Christmas to everyone, I finally have some time to do some posting. thanks for looking at my little stocking stuffers. first up is the now long abandoned Panthro project. I just flat out hated how this was starting to look, so I decided to scrap it, and plan on sometime re-doing with a larger mate. I really want to have real spikes, and not just painted/decaled ones. well here ya go,please be gentle Next up is one for you GI Joe fans. one of my favorites to play with when i was growing up was Grand Slam, and his J.U.M.P. Jet pack(probably because he looked so much like Flash, another favorite) I sto...borrowed this idea from my buddies over at B.I. Joe (lego joe custom site) works so well with minimates I think. an updated chrome faced Cobra Commander a little wip that has been sitting and a little fun with photoshop
