I have to say, I like the look of the CG Smurfs mixed with live action. And Hank Azaria as Gargamel is amazing!!! Now, is he looking for Smurfs to turn them into Gold, or to bake them in a pie???

I guess there is the chance that the other suit could be a tampo under the chest piece? Maybe he'll come with an extra set of rolled up sleeve arms too.

Thing/Trenchcoat Thing: Luke, looks like they took your 'puny arms' to heart! I actually like the bulky look of these. Spidey: Looks like the extra arm harness is removable, for another classic version of Spidey! Prof X: Need to see more of the chair before I decide over my Kubrick custom. Servo-Guard/Doombot: A nice classic look! Warpath: Really surprised it isn't Liefeld X-Force Warpath!!! Lizard: I would prefer a head piece instead of a tampo, similar to Jubilee... EDIT: I'm getting some weird spyware/malware alerts on my work PC when going to that site, so I threw the pic on imageshack just in case.

Cool, I'll have to look for some. Did you have to put something in the tip for the Minimate feet, or is just the main piece all you need?

Bricklink is your friend! Make the investment in these and you won't have to worry about it. Sort that list by the highest quantity and look for "BricksLand". They are in the US (California) and were very reliable. I paid on Friday and had them in my hand on Monday. At 7 cents each, I bought 800 for around $60, but then again...I'm a bit touched.

Thanks for the comments! Thanks to lastmaximal, I think I found a solution for Night Thrasher's helmet (Street Justice Batman). [Night Thrasher was a rip-off of Batman, but Batman ripped off Night Thrasher's mask...huh.] Just need to find the time to work on it now.

Nah, just surprised to see such animosity toward a wave that was supposed to come out 3 years ago. You'd think that would be out of people's systems by now.

Mattycollector.com takes the frustration of the brick-and-mortar scalper hunt, and applies it to the convenience of online shopping. As much as I like the MOTU Classic figures, I will never purchase a single thing from the website purely out of principle.

Don't think so. However you could use a substitute to make something that's not even close but it's as good as you'll get: Chun Li's spiked bracelets. Good call, 2 of these on each wrist would look good.

Okay, so the idea behind this thread is what currently produced Minimates can we use to help cobble together either some Quick Customs or customs by painting existing parts as best as possible. The fact that this wave got abandoned is a thorn in my side to this day. Even more so now that I am working to display my Minimates by wave. We know that there are pieces from that wave that have been reused (REUSE), so let's compile them here. Example: Tony Stark's Racing Helmet for Johnny Blaze For the pieces that haven't been produced, what are the best substitute (SUB) ones to use? Example: Sand Seref's head and Nina Myers' body' for Roxanne Simpson.
