  1. Oh yeah! Thats the stuff. I enjoy the looks on the faces, just as much as the fun of collecting. Thanks for posting those pics. Keep them coming too. Just drop us a line when you need help and more than likely, someone will lend a hand. I just got back from a business trip, but I stopped in to see my two nephews on the way. Of course, good ole Uncle Shanester took a bunch of minimates and the smiles were massive. Its amazing how much fun a 2" piece of plastic can bring.
  2. Thats awesome! I would have to consider selling what I could to go after that. That is, if it stays around the estimated selling price. Go for it Jules!
  3. I have the Hulk figure. Actually, I have one of the SHS Hulk prototypes, too. The articulation is great, but too much for figures so small.
  4. I am back from my trip to DC. I sat George W. down and had a little talk with the man. I did a little comic shop hunting and scored a MIB Bat-copter for $22. Eat it, suckers!!!
  5. The next contest will be for a Gold Spiderman. In order to win, you must be named Shane AND have a birthdate of July 17 AND live in New Orleans AND currently be typing this post.
  6. Well, don't let it brong you down on these too much. I think they skimped a bit on the detail with Speed & RX, but I can almost overlook it. The cars are a seemingly awesome first "mini-vehicle" but the figures do not fit well, the steering wheel is to the side which makes the figures position in the car look dumb, and the cars are a bit strange looking. They should be a bit more in scale to the figure and they sit too high off the chasis. Again, all of this is just my opinion. Still good to see new mates on the shelves, but I don't see these breathing any fresh air into the product line, at all. Just can't walk through those doors without something in your hands? Man, do I feel your pain.
  7. Sorry for the confusion. This should of had quotes around it. I was mimicking what was said by Adam. The same line we have heard for the last couple of years...
  8. I have been catching rumors of this for the last week or so, but this is the first solid info I have heard. FINALLY, the green goliath is back in the game. :hulk: Thanks Ady!!!
  9. Patience?! Patience?! You're kidding. How much more patience is needed before this is ridiculously overdue?
  10. I hate to be a wet blanket (unless it has some spiritual meaning in the church of minimateology), but what Adam posted is more of the same. Hang in there gang, great surprises are just around the corner! I promise... Although I greatly appreciate his presence, I am not impressed.
  11. Just keep in mind that you need to be a member to post, but anyone can lurk. I don't want my email address being sold in Nigeria.
  12. If these figures fail, and I mean all of the licenses lumped, it won't be because they weren't cool. It will be because the company that brought them to life, just as quickly killed them off.
  13. All I can say is... Speed Racer Mini-mates, coming soon to a clearance aisle near you. I like the concept, but am very disappointed with the product.
  14. Xybot, let us know what you guys decide after solicitations. I imagine you guys could easily drum up some pre-orders here. I am curious to know if they will guarantee at least one of each variant in a solid case like Medicom does.
  15. Nice collection. You already have a tough one out of the way with that Giant Sized X-Men set. I like the Spidey crawling across the bottom of the shelf.
  16. I don't like alternate universes and I don't like Ultimate universes. Nuff said.
  17. Well, just as I suspected, my Target did not have these and no one there knew what I was talking about. I did find the Speed Racer sets at TRU though.
  18. Definitely admissable. Its a comic cover. Nuff said.
