found a set of wave 3 over the weekend after the next boxset, i think the line can end. well that's not entirely true, i wouldn't mind a few more civilians: normal dana and louis, gb1 janine, and winston. but what i really want is an ecto-1 in minimates scale.

although i'm happy that there will be more gb minimates, i'm not too pleased with the selection of this set. id rather have gb1 janine. walter peck is a meh for me. and i was unable to find gooey ray, so i won't have much use for gooey egon and winston.

found the set at toysrus. only picked up lab egon because for some reason that was the only one that hasn't shipped from TRU.com and i got it in case it never does. the only set i'm missing thus far is the marshmallow'd ray.

I would never have known that he wore Egon's uni if not for this forum. But no biggie, since I have two regular Egons (one from the boxset and one from the 2pack) i can easily switch the uniforms to make it movie accurate.

Hi just picked up the set at my local TRU. Well, almost the entire set. I didn't bother with Chief since I don't really need another one of him and a random Cylon. I haven't opened them yet, but I guess I should expect missing paint apps :-/

i just got an email from tru.com that gb2 winston is being processed.

Even though I wasn't able to get all five packs, I had really good customer service. I called ahead giving them the Item # and the lady said they had nine on the floor and asked if I wanted them to hold them for me. I said sure and that I'm looking for a complete set. Unfortunately they told me they could only find three unique ones, but they held them for me under my name. I went to TRU about half an hour later and went straight to customer service, where the lady handed me four packs. I guess as I was driving over there they managed to find a fourth one. I still went to check the aisle anyway, and they still had three left. And yes, I realize that 4+3 = 7 and not 9, but who knows where the other two packs went. In any case they were quite helpful, but still no Ray/Exploding Stay Puft yet.

i was able to pick up 4 of the 5 sets. still missing the ray and exploding stay puft set. these are cool for the ghosts i guess, but if i weren't a completist, i wouldn't care to get the slimed peter or the marshmallow ray. and of course now i have two egons. im liking the box sets a lot more. it appears that my tru gets stuff in a week after these things appear. at least that was the case with bsg series 1 as well.

I saw a ton of 'em at my local TRU. I do have some concerns about how well this line will sell. Besides a small community of collectors that may very well all hang out on this forum, I don't see the appeal of BSG Minimates to a wide audience.

thanks for all your reports. i was able to get all of series 1 at my (not so local) TRU last night. the closest TRU to me is a 20 minute drive (includes going on the freeway). i had called ahead using the upc number and the lady checked and said there were 10 on the floor. she asked someone to confirm that they had it, but it ended up being a no. but like any good compulsive collector, i went anyway and there they were! i assume that these employees have no idea what bsg minimates are and wouldn't have been able to find it. btw, it was stocked next to the bsg action figures in the "misc" section. PLUS, i was also able to use up the $20 gift card i got from purchasing the ghostbusters game from TRU.

Yeah, I'm STILL waiting for BBTS to get these. My pile of loot has been on hold for a month now 'cause I'm unwilling to pay seven bucks shipping for this. If someone is indeed army building HAC's, I'd be willing to buy the spare Kat for a few bucks.

Wow, I'm scared. Scared that it might happen. And scared for my wallet. I love Star Wars, but have refrained from buying Star Wars merchandise for quite a long time now. If they started Minimates, however.... Indiana Jones i will probably get without hesitation.

Hi, I'm new here, but have been reading the forum for a while. I only collect BSG minimates right now - may branch out but I fear for my wallet. Anyway as much as I'd like my first post to be a positive one, instead I'm gonna whine and show my disappointment for not getting a Kendra figure. It's so silly that they advertise this as a Razor assortment when all we're getting are a bunch of cylons. For you army builders I'm sure it's great, but I want as wide a selection of different characters and not just a lot of variations of cylons. Anyway, love the site.
