  1. Great stuff man, simply wonderful!! Definately like the GI Joe mates....... Destro & Cobra Commander are my favs!!
  2. Just to put my two cents in.... In this whole case of re-issueing figures, sure....if you put a value on these things, of course your going to think that they are being lessened in value. But for someone like me, who just collects these for the fun of it, it is a chance to pick up some characters that we may have missed along the way and spare ourselves the time and money on trying to find the originals on Ebay. I for one have a full time job, but all of my money goes towards my bills and expenses and when everything is all said and done for the month, I have maybe $10-$20 to spare, so it would be nice to find some figures that I missed at a reasonable price. Luckily, I was able to find the Giant Sized set at a local toy show for a decent price, but I would certainly like to be able to find some more of these figures to use in my customs. So do these new re-issues devalue some sets....sure.....only if you put a monitary value to them. Just my thoughts folks.....
  3. This was definately a great way for everyone to get together and make some creative projects, and I think we all came up with some pretty sweet pieces!
  4. If only they put them out where more people were able to get them...... Like i said, I didn't see ANY Street Fighters mates in this area or back home and I checked quite a few shops that I knew of. That's why no one was buying them, no one knew where to get them except online. If they choose not to make anymore, it is a very sad thing......but at least put out series 2.
  5. "Hey bub, I'm the best there is at what I do!" dunno if i made this one.
  6. Great news, although SF wave 2 uncertainty makes me sad......
  7. The Thicker characters DO look to be a bit better......but joints are always one of my tops things when getting a figure, if the joints don't look like they are up to snuff.....i just may have to pass on it.
  8. Nervous - I may actually have to get a commission done some day by you.....that's probably my Favorite clear custom of ALL TIME!! Ivan - Simply put...I LOVE those little blobby things!!!!!
  9. I've loved everyone's entries......this is going to be a very difficult contest!
  10. Well here is my entry: The Amazing Spiderman 50, probably not the best I could do........but with the time I had, it's all I could come up with
  11. I'm hoping to have one done by tomorrow.....works been a pain in getting my finished
  12. Just the same as you.....I haven't actually picked up any of these, but have checked out their joints and they just looked too weak to me. I had to pass on them. I have seen the Juggernaut figure, but didn't get a chance to check out the joints on it, that's probably the only one I would likely to get.
  13. It seems that doing so isn't easy.....everytime I ask someone at a Target or TRU about Minimates, I get this really confused look. I describe further and sometimes have item numbers, and still get "deer in the headlights" staring back at me. Needless to say, it's Very frustrating.........
  14. Hell, if i see ANYTHING new in stores around here, I'll be happy!
  15. I've seen the whole wave at Kay Bee Toys.......if you can, check there
  16. ALRIGHT!!! Used up all my invites.....you guys can take over now!
  17. I just looked around this evening for anything new and saw absolutely nothing!!! The only thing I found that was new to me was a GI Joe three pack that had a Bad ass "Stealth" Cobra Commander!! Wouldn't buy that for him, but if it came as a seperate......would have been all over it!
  18. I've Only got 2 Invites Left.........If anyone else is interested, Feel free to message me your email address!
  19. I've always used Super Sculpey....had to use it for school and such, So i have just been used to using it. It is also hard for me to find the other types of modeling material around here. Guess I just have alot of patience with the stuff..lol
  20. I must add that I use Super Sculpey as well.........i honestly thought thats what we were talking about! lol.........
  21. Sweet Marvel Zombies, nicely done! Very creepy
  22. Here are some customs I've done using sculpty: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jcastick/det...p;.dnm=ab3d.jpg http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jcastick/det...p;.dnm=5089.jpg http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jcastick/det...p;.dnm=b939.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b17/jcastick/ElMuerto2.jpg I don't usually make my helmets or what not removeable, so I usually just sculpt what I want on the figure and use a butane lighter to "bake" and harden the outside. This sometimes allows the part you sculpted on to slip out and you can then fire the inside and harden that. You also don't want to do this too long, or else the sculpty will blacken and bubble....ends up looking a bit weird. Hope that helps a bit!
  23. Still Have 7 Invites folks.....help me use them up! Message me your email if interested
