  1. think i'll skip this set, and wait until we get a Jubilee that isn't rubbish same for Bishop
  2. Yes we received our shipment last Friday, and most of the orders have already shipped. marvelous! cheers buddy
  3. i notice you're are/were in here... got the third box set yet luke?
  4. I'd say a VERY good chance to see Howard Stark. Especially since they already cast him. ahhhh well, yeah you go although, i must admit... when i first clicked on the link, i thought... ah dominic cooper... what, he's far too young, what was wrong with the other guy... it was approximately 4 seconds later i'd realised my mistake
  5. i sort of thought, the 'best' way of catering to these last few wants would perhaps be a box set, Coulson, H.Stark, FB Whiplash and yet another Iron Man variation... I don't know, drunk birthday Stark? anyway, i highly doubt we'll get a FB Whiplash now, as a few have said. With all the other Marvel films on the way, its hardly like we've seen the last of Agent Coulson (that sounds a lot more threatening in my head!), and theres even a good chance we'll see H.Stark in the Cap film. ...was just looking at my shelf with the Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men and Punisher movie mates all together, and can't help but be impressed by it... just imagine what these collections will look like in a year or two
  6. wow, really nice work... these are all so vibrant and unique, a few more and a group shot will look incredible! oh, you still taking ideas/requests? when you first mentioned any monsters that others remember, etc.... well, i've had Drool the dog-faced goblin stuck in my head since i were a kid. that and Calarami, from the Cabinet of... but he's not particularly interesting looking. your mates have prompted me to try and get hold of the cartoons and re-watch from the beginning
  7. I'd say the figure factory glider looks the best by far... but its certainly too big, even the capsule toy glider is slightly too big. Gobby's feet have always been near or even at the edges of his glider... unless he happened to be using a special large one for some reason. in terms of scale and appearance... the mega bloks goblin glider is essentially perfect, its what i've got Greenie on, with Hobgoblin on a spare Menace glider
  8. The Incredible Hulk v.much based on mtd's Hulk QC... gave mine some of those big fist hands Tony Stark I'd wanted a Tony based on a cover from last year's Armor Wars, which Twisted Two-Face helped me identify. Someday I may add some goggles, waiting on a Cannonball mate or something, we'll see Harry Osborn based on TENIME's Harry, used Norman hair and Lab coat Egon body... youbastards suggested using Yellowjacket's head, and it works perfectly, as well as looking great next to daddy. White Lantern Boston Brand so, yeah... Deadman is alive, due to the events of Blackest Night, he seems to be playing a pivotal role in Brightest Day. Deadman and Kyle Reese parts, decided to throw this together after noticing the similarity between Kyle and the way Boston is being drawn (go have a look... its uncanny!)... then turning to my desk, to see a spare Reese head starring at me. Captain Atom Silver Surfer has been used as a base for CA numerous times on here... but it wasn't until a google image search to check how accurate my custom had turned out, did I notice that this is an exact replica of Graham's version. On that note... i'd like to point out what a good job he did Whiplash I've noticed punisher has also done one of these v.well... seems like a simple yet v.effective change. Renne Montoya Another TENIME recipe, some Question parts, a nifty belt... and a Tony Stark 'come and get me girls' hair-do, and there we have one of Gotham City's finest. as always, comments/suggestions always welcome... thanks for looking
  9. after reading the last couple of ASMs... i do hope this is a proper classic Lizard, not the new 'look' i trust they'll do the right thing
  10. http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/...management.html Click on the above link and type in the buyers id. In this case type in mph3436 Hope this helps. cheers jason, nice one
  11. cheers gang Peter Parker is a mix of wave 24 and movie versions Doc Samson was actually copied from a picture on a minimate website... which i'd never heard of before. I want to say... the Minimate Store? I came across it by chance, and can't seem to find it again... perhaps it simply never happened. Hank Pym is a hybrid of Avengers box set head/hair and an altered BSG jumpsuit... details/insignia removed that is Metamorpho as I'd always intended to make him... but without spare arms, i'd originally made him for the vanilla contest a while back. Jonah is copied from TENIME's version... kudos to him! A constant source of inspiration. brobotc - oh aye, i'm looking to update all my pictures this week, took most in a bit of a rush. There's a pic of him on an early page, i only posted this to show his 'upgrade' ... the dome/fishbowl piece is from the Fisher Price Imaginext range... and requires little to no modification to fit over a minimate head n' shoulders. Trekker - 'The Squad' aren't from anything in particular, its just what i've come to dub them in my own head. They're look is deliberately ambiguous... they can be used as Anti-Mutant/Swat/Guards/Mercenaries/Bank Robbers, etc. thanks for looking y'all!
  12. just throwing these up quickly, I'll add some recipes/descriptions later tonight... Peter Parker & '1st Appearance' Mary Jane Barry Allen Doc Samson Mr & Mrs bobafett Hank Pym Charles Xavier (with Colossus) Mr Freeze Metamorpho Jonah Jameson Iceman Sandman Two-Face 'The Squad' Lois Lane Maxwell Lord X-Factor Angel (on eBay)
  13. defenders hairpiece, definitely. it is perfect, i've actually copied your recipe for that Hulk.
  14. thats the one indeed! thanks v.much TTF... its such a gorgeous piece of art, right? any idea if its out in TPB or anything? my collection is severely lacking anything Iron Man
  15. how does one block members from bidding on their auctions? sorry to hear it groundhog... sounds like a mental old bitch who shouldn't have had kids, or let them bully her over ebay purchases... or something, some people are dreadful
  16. hello friends i was wondering if there was anyone who may be able to help me out... i'm looking for a recent(ish) Iron Man comic cover, the exact title or date are unknown, but im fairly certain its from 2010, perhaps late 2009. the cover had Tony sitting down in a tshirt/vest, i think holding an iron man helmet, and various armours were in the background. does anyone know what issue this was? its a beautiful cover, had it saved on my computer before it went mental a couple of weeks back... lost all my files, etc. if anyone can help me out, that'd just be swell, ta xxx
  17. ahhh... if i change anything, the original unaltered parts are kept, stored away in little bags... in case of... 'emergency'
  18. very cool... Thundercats look awesome as minimates any chance you can re-host your old stuff... for those of us that missed it first time around!
  19. i believe its TENIME... and that is the one i'm intending to copy... the body was a lab coat Egon, i think. cheers for the suggestions guys, appreciate it. I reckon i'm going to go with youbastards... Hank Pym it is, blue eyes... crazy eyebrows, whilst remaining fairly neutral in expression. Also, i know my LCS has YJ/Kree set, and i recently misplaced a Kree helmet for a custom.... it is like destiny!
  20. hello there ladies and gentlemen i'm looking for a head of Harry Osborn... been having a good ol' think, and searching the database, but can't really decide on one. Other than the movie version, which is him n' all... does anyone have a good idea for a specific head to use? Namor has the classic looking eyebrows... but seems far too angry overall... there is nothing in particular that stands out as a decent choice cheers for any suggestions
  21. i am in awe of that guy... though, he really must get out more!
  22. if thats your opinion... shut the hell up and keep it to yourself
  23. this has turned into a Luke lovefest... and rightly so. We, as a community, are extremely lucking to have someone like Luke to get stuff from... he has pre-orders up very earlier, and responds to any queries both through email and multiverse private message within a couple of days at most. LTS came along just as i was questioning my minimate future, so to speak, as things became increasingly hard (expensive) to come by for us UK based fellas
  24. you Americans have really surprised plug sockets
  25. glad you started this thread mtd! gives me a place to let you know i spent a long time looking at your collection picks the other day... and have copied your Hulk and Iceman's belt mods (though i used X-Factor Iceman, having removed the silly looking 'X'). I rarely, if ever do straight part swaps to improve mates, unless it's something like swapping to matching C3 feet. I do, however like to make ''definitive' versions, e.g. my movie Sandman just sadly sits in a bag, in a box... complaining about his hard life, so i gave his fancy sand arms to his comic counterpart... having painted the sleeves to match, as well as giving him a pretty little belt oh... i'd copy that Thing of yours as well, if I'd seen it before the new version was announced... a very impressive display you have
