Ok, so throughout pre-production and even into actual production the name of the villian in the Ironman movie was to be the "Crimson Dynamo" not "Ironmonger" so i decided since i had some extra monger parts lying around i'd make a what might have been movie style

the Iron monger mate is really well done, maybe the best of that entire wave, but a bit small compared to his movie counterpart so i wanted to try something out, i think it came out pretty good, my largest custom thus far...

Mark V armor

Ever evolving his Armor to be lighter, stronger and generally more powerful, the Mark V armor is the last/best of the original (model 1) armors that started with the classic silver(Mark I) through three versions (Mark II,III, IV) of the gold plated armors of Tony Stark.

the Mark V sports state of the art Servos and Repulsor tech as well as further refinements to its speed and agility by use of the new aluminum alloys of the latter "gold" armors, gone is the plated "skirt" that restricted movement and added is a set of less cumbersome boots but the most noticable change is purly cosmetic a "splash of Hot rod Red" as Stark calls it to show this bad boys "souped up" look. the Mark five is more of a proving ground for this new "slimmed" downed concept and is refined further with the subsequent Model II Mark I Proto-Classic Armor

of course the Mark V doesnt actually exist in the comics, i made it up, but i thought it was a cool steping stone type armor to fill out my ever increasing hall of armors. what do you think?

Sorry, i wasnt able to get more than a couple of the challenges done then my kids got sick and i ran out of time to complete the rest, would have liked that red dress six but oh well maybe next time, good luck everyone.

I like those IM, not sure any are Comic accurate ( feel free to correct me) but still very nice.

I like the idea of black/blue paint job on the stealth and that Cap/IM is pretty damn cool.

and you are correct none are comic accurate(with the exception of the "what if?" captain america armor) i was just having fun with various parts and paints, and finding suitable new homes for all the extra IM helmets i have from dupe IM boxsets

these seem to be the same ones( maybe minus the Variant Archangel set) i see hanging around most places, so you may find them on sale/cheaper someplace else, i guess what im saying is dont buy them just because you feel like your going to miss them, buy which ever characters are your favorites and only if they are a good price(to you).

as far as the varaint set if its the same price as the others and/or under $15 thats a good deal i guess. -M

How do you accomplish the fishnet stockings? I've always wondered what the most effecient way of applying them would be. Care to share your technique?

believe it or not i hand painted them, i tried to think of a better way, like maybe a razor blade but couldn't get a uniform amout of paint on the blade, so yeah by hand it took a while and of course its not perfect but it looks pretty good i think?

I can , and Nope i got two and they came shipped in the same plastic bubble envelope, i got lucky i guess as one was in the aformentioned curled/crushed condition but the other (the variant i guess ) was in remarkably good condition???
