So this Six lady, is she really a robot? A slutty robot? What's her deal? Obviously I missed the boat when it comes to BSG. I got the red dress minimate of her yesterday, and all the other minimates keep fallling overthemselves to ask her out. lol

I asked santa (inlaws) for the Lego Holiday Train. I've never had a model train set, so I figure this is the best way to start. I can't wait to try and cram all of my minimates on the train to see santa!

Hey all I'm looking to do some mini-customizing, but my painting skills are less than stellar. I usually just do a base coat and pass it along to my wife the artist to finish up. Which leads me to my request for help. I think the whole decal/sticker idea concerning minimate customization is a great idea, and I'd love to get on board, but I don't have the expertise to start from scratch. What computer program makes the best stickers/decals? Are their tempaltes available? Does anyone have any ready-made stickers? Even if you can't help, drop me a pm and let me know that you share an intrest in this facet of customizing, so I can get this ball rolling!

Hey after a super good find of the five packs for 12.99, and a great trade, my total stands at 14. Respectable, but not an army yet. Hi. Why are their holes in the bottom of mini mates feet? I can understand the c-3 ones but the newer sets leave me guessing. Were there planned stands/bases for them? I personally appreciate the holes as they fit perfect on lego studs, but was curious none the less. thanks

The GL 2-pack is one I've been meaning to pick up for a while. Does anyone else have this problem with them? maybe it's like the kittie pride/ green arrow thing. TM2 if you need replacements let me know so i can pick them up for you when i get mine.

hey all. Sitting here at work, and it got me to thinking, what does everyone else do to make a living? I'm a temp at bank right now, and it's not all that fun. Eight hours of excell is pretty tedious. What do you do? Too young to have a job? Enjoy it while you can, I wish someone had told me that, back in the day. As side note, what's the worst job you've ever had? I've got two, I worked trash truck at the San Diego Zoo for a year, and let me tell you something: You've never ever ever smelled anything as bad as Tapir feces. I've smelled everythign under the sun(lol), and that was the worst.Believe me on this one. Please, for your own sake. And secondly I worked graveyard shift at gas sation/convienance store for a couple of years, the job was great, could do my own thing, but was robbed at gunpoint. lol That wasn't so fun. Two guys with a shotgun and a revolver come in, make me lie down on my stomach in the back of the store, while robbing the place....and then pepper sprayed me. Cops caught all the guys, so all in all a good ending to the matter, but I thought I was a goner for a minute there. So what your worst job? Long hours? Weird people? Cruddy boss? Chat it up!

I'd LOVE to see The Real Ghostbusters minimates. That'd be my cartoon pick. For video games: Dead Rising, with civilian zomibie, would be neat. Zombie's are always a good bet these days. Also, my wife says Mario and Luigi. No! wait! Futurama would be my choice.

David Brin is a great author, but kinda a jerk in person. Met him at a con long ago, and he wasn't very excited to be there at all. Bruce Campbell, on the other hand is great person, met him at a signing, and he at elast acted interested in what i was saying. Anyone read his books? Funny and informative

i think you'd have to be intangible for invisability to work well. Otherwise people would be bumping into you and things like that. Plus the whole water/rain/paint effect from every invisble man movie ever, where it cover the guy and *poof* he's visable.

616commando's list of excellent books; (will update as i remember) Deathstalker series by Simon Green. Has anyone else read this series?!? I'd have to put the whole series on the top of my list. Replay by Ken Grimwood. Awesomely life changing book. Has anyone read the Darth Bane book? the sequal comes out early next year, and the first was excellent. It got me back into Star Wars fiction.
